This is to enable fan interaction at the presentations and with the teams following the meeting, whilst enabling an early departure for all teams ahead of round three. 3 FORMAT Drivers will be seeded into groups of two and then randomly drawn for time trials. Any driver that does not record a time in time trials will go to the rear of both of their heats. Cars recording the same fastest lap time, will be separated using the first will receive the higher qualifying spot. The first round of heats will be determined by the fastest qualifier to the front of heat 1, second highest qualifier to the front of heat 2 etc. The second round of heats will be determined by inverting the first round draw and moving rows to different heats. There will be 4 cars to transfer from the C Main to the rear of the B Main and 4 cars to transfer from the B Main to the rear of the A Main. The A Main will consist of 18 cars. Heat races will be conducted over 10 laps, C main 15 laps, B main 20 laps and A main will be 30 laps. There will be no reserves for the C, B or A Mains. POINTS SCHEDULE The following example is based on 4 heats, if there are more than 48 cars the time trial points will be grouped in blocks of 5 instead of 4 etc. To split any cars on equal points the car that has recorded the fastest lap during time trials, using the transponder system, will be deemed the higher qualifier. All Sprintcars are to run effective mufflers at each track, MAXIMUM 95 D.B.A. A noise meter will be in use at all three venues, Avalon, Mt. Gambier and Warrnambool. Any car exceeding this level faces disqualification from that particular nights racing.

4 An SCCA Licence and Speedway Australia Licence is required at all 3 tracks. All 3 tracks use the AMB Transponder System for the purpose of lap scoring and timing. Hire transponders are available at a cost of $30 incl GST per night. Transponders not purchased through the System Operator at the venue will incur a service fee of $15 incl GST per night. MEETING CANCELLATION 1. If the race meeting is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances before the first event, no prize or tow money will be paid out. If two or more tracks are cancelled out there will be 30% tow money ONLY paid by these tracks. 2. If the meeting is cancelled before the sixth event, no prize money will be paid out. 3. If the first round of heats has been completed, prize money will be divided equally between all point scorers. 4. The $10, Easter Trail Series Sweep bonus will only be paid out on three fully completed A-Main victories. This means a final with a minimum of 20 completed laps must be run and a points payout following the heats, the C Main or B Main will not constitute a victory that contributes to the Sweep. The Sweep Bonus will based on The Driver not The Car or Car Owner.
