8 go Kart FAQ s Q: Do I need to have a zero blood alcohol (0.00) to drive the Go Karts? Yes, all drives must have a 0.00% BAC to drive the Go Karts and random breath testing will occur. Q: Will I need special clothing to drive the Go Karts? Yes, you must have enclosed footwear, clothing that covers your shoulders (no singlets) and no loose clothing items (e.g. scarves) Q: Will the Go Karts operate if is raining? Yes, we will continue to operate the go karts in most weather conditions, but we do recommend bringing your own rain gear (no plastic ponchos). Q: Do I have to book for a session on the Go Kart track? No, you can just arrive and drive, however we do take Go Karts bookings for groups of 10 people and above during non-peak periods. Q: How many Go Karts can be on the track at once? Up to 24 Go Karts can be on the track during each session and 9 Tandem Karts each family session. Q: What age do I have to be to drive the Go Karts? To drive the Go Karts you must be 12 years or older and a minimum height of 140cm. Q: How old does my child have to be to passenger in a Tandem Go Kart? Your child must be 5 years or older and accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age and at least 140cm tall. Q: I don t have any driving experience. Am I allowed on the Go Karts? Yes. We have a full drivers briefing that will show you what to do while on the Go Kart track. We also split the participants into two levels of experience - Family and Open sessions. To participate in an open session you must be 16 years of age and above. Q: Do you recommend the Go Karts if I have a pre-existing medical condition? For comfort and safety, the Go Karts is not recommended for guests with the following: A physical impairment that prevents them using their legs or arms Neck or back injuries High blood pressure Heart conditions Pregnancy Recent surgery or illness Q: Is there anywhere to keep my valuables while I m on the Go Kart track? Yes, we provide lockers free of charge.

9 Terms & Conditions GO KARTS Strict zero (0.00) blood alcohol applies to participants of the Go Karts. No refunds will be given to those who do not adhere to the zero blood alcohol requirement. Shoulders must be covered and enclosed shoes must be worn to drive the Go Karts. Drivers must be aged 12 years and older and at least 140cm tall to drive a single Go Kart. Children aged between 5-15 years can ride in a Tandem Kart as a passenger with an adult driver aged 18 years and over and at least 140cm tall. Children under the age of 5 years are not permitted to ride the Go Karts. GROUP BOOKINGS & EXCLUSIVE PACKAGES Group bookings and in-bound groups are not available on public holidays, public events and other peak periods at the discretion of venue. A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. A signed copy of the Terms and Conditions is required to confirm your booking. Final booking numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the activity date. This will constitute the minimum number of participants to be charged. No refunds will be issued after confirmation of final booking numbers. Final payment is to be made no later than 7 days prior to the group activity date. The date of the group activity can be changed up to a minimum of 14 days prior to the original date to an alternative date within 3 months of the original booking date. Payment method is by EFT Transfer, Mastercard, Visa, Amex or Cash. Arrival must be a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your booking time at the Visitor Centre. All corporate branding must be pre-approved by the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit no later than 7 days prior to the group activity date Management reserve the right to apply minimum numbers to any group activity at any time. Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit reserves the right to be compensated for any loss or damage caused to its property or goods by any visitor. Due to the nature of the venue, access to some areas is restricted. It is required that all visitors follow the direction of venue staff at all times. Smoking is NOT permitted inside enclosed areas of the venue or near the children s playground. No external food or drinks can be consumed within the Visitor Centre. Animals are not permitted on the premises. Guide dogs are permitted. Management reserve the right to refuse entry.
