You should have already receved your permanent passes for the year, along wth your parkng passes and membershp card n the post. Ths meetng wll be the only one day meetng of the year and wll use the double header format. There wll be one qualfyng and two races, per grd, on the day. Your fastest qualfyng tme wll determne your startng poston for race one, your second fastest qualfyng tme wll determne your startng poston for race 2. Complmentary tea, coffee and bscuts wll be served from the Mono Hub over the weekend. All Monoposto compettors and teams are welcome to jon us n the hub. Any drvers who have not competed at Oulton Park before, please make yourself known to Terry Scannell who s the Clerk of the Course and he wll talk to you separately before qualfyng. Slverstone Trophes: The trophes for both races at Slverstone were not awarded due to some ncdents n both races and the results remanng provsonal untl after the meetng. Therefore all of the trophes wll be awarded straght after the drvers brefng. Parkng Arrangements: MSVR s parkng marshal, Stephen Green, wll be at Oulton on Thursday, Frday and Saturday to ad wth parkng up, as wll Rachel Lovett. The Champonshp MSA Lcensed Elgblty Scrutneers are also consdered Judges of Fact and empowered to undertake any measurements or examnatons of vehcles.. DRIVERS RACING FOR THE TIME AT OULTON PARK Compettors must read an nstructon sheet that can be collected from Race Admnstraton pror to ther qualfyng sessons.. DRIVERS BRIEFINGS Drvers brefngs wll be at the tmes and locatons gven n the tmetable. The organsers reserve the rght to call extra brefngs as approprate. Attendance at any drvers brefng s mandatory.
9 . ENGINE / NOISE POLLUTION Engnes must not be run before 08 hours OR after 180 hours.. LANE Please note the mandatory speed lmt n the Pt Lane of 0 km/h. Please keep the outer lane clear at all tmes. The Penalty Box s n the Pt Lane adjacent to Race Control. Pt Lane compettors must not ext the pt lane when the Red Lght at the pt ext s llumnated. 1. QUALIFYING GT Cup procedures Warm up cars to Assembly Area for nose testng Qualfyng cars drect to track from Pt Lane All other cars Cars parked n the paddock wll be requred n the Assembly Area 20 mnutes pror to ther qualfyng. On nstructon from marshals, cars wll proceed from the Assembly Area nto the Pt Lane. Please make yourself famlar wth the locaton of the Assembly Area and Parc Fermé, before your frst practce sesson.. RACE START PROCEDURE All compettors wll assemble n the Assembly Area. On nstructon from offcals, all cars wll be convoyed behnd a Course Car va the Fosters Crcut to the grd. Ths convoy lap must be n sngle fle and at low speed notng that marshals and recovery vehcles could be on crcut. Once cars are n poston on the grd, the countdown wll begn. In the event that any category takes more than four mnutes to complete the formaton lap the race tme may be reduced. In deal condtons the racng programme may be brought forward by up to 20 mnutes and compettors should ensure that they are n ther correct locaton n good tme. GT Cup Champonshp, SsangYong Racng Challenge and the frst Lotus Cup & Else Trophy race wll have a rollng start. ALL other races wll have a STANDING START.. GRIDS Grd selecton wll be n accordance wth Champonshp Regulatons. 1. COUNTDOWNS For all races, the countdown wll start at the 1 mnute sgnal unless otherwse specfed n Champonshp Regulatons. 18. END OF PRACTICE AND RACE PROCEDURE At the end of each practce or race all cars must slow down after takng the Chequered Flag and leave the crcut by enterng the Pt Lane and turnng RIGHT nto the Parc Fermé. The Parc Fermé entry s at the pt lane entry before the Medcal Centre. Marshals at Deer Leap wll dsplay Yellow Flags. Wnners wll proceed on foot to the podum for presentatons. All compettors wll reman under Parc Fermé condtons untl advsed by the Scrutneers. 1. SAFETY CAR The Clerk of the Course wll have the opton to deploy the Safety Car durng practce, qualfyng and races. The Safety Car wll jon the crcut at the pt ext and leave the crcut by enterng the pt lane. Safety Car nstructons wll be n accordance wth MSA regulatons or Champonshp regulatons. Copes are avalable from Race Admnstraton. 21. LIMITS At ths event nfrngements of track lmts as defned by MSA Regulaton Q1..2 wll be detected by an automatc system that wll dentfy the offendng car and produce a photograph of the nfrngement. Ths photographc evdence wll be consdered as a fact and may be used by the Clerk of the Course for judcal procedures n accordance wth MSA Regulatons. The above mechansm for such nfrngements does not preclude from marshals, offcals and Judges of Fact from reportng nfrngements. 22. FLAGS Control flags (Black/Whte, Black/Orange etc) wth car numbers may be shown from the control lne on drvers rght at the lne. The same nformaton may also be shown from electronc panels dsplayed alongsde the start lghts n addton to or as an alternatve to the flags on the lne. 2. MSV & MSVR shall not be lable n the event of damage caused to vehcles beng recovered from the track. Cables n the Paddocks MUST be covered wth a propretary cable cover. Tal lfts must NOT be left unattended n the md poston. It s strongly recommended that extended tal lfts are ftted wth warnng lghts. 2. JUDGES OF FACT Judges may be apponted n accordance wth MSA Q18. Tmekeepers: To declare the ndvdual lap tmes and the order n whch the cars cross the tmng lne throughout the competton. Scrutneers: In addton to the Champonshp/Seres Elgblty Scrutneers, elgblty may be checked by a member of the MSA Techncal Commsson, as lsted n the MSA Offcals Yearbook Appendx 8(e). 25. LIGHT SIGNALS There are lghts at varous ponts around the crcut. These lght sgnals have the same meanng and authorty as the flag sgnals. 2. Tmng All compettors are requred to use a AMB TranX 20 or MyLaps X2 transponder. Transponders can be purchased from TSL at n advance of the meetng. Compettors wth complant transponders must supply the transponder number n advance of the event to ther respectve Seres or Champonshp Coordnator. 2. FIA Grade: THREE Races wll be organsed for the Races/Seres/Champonshps lsted below under the followng Motor Sports Assocaton Permt Numbers: Nat B: Ths event s NCAFP permtted The Meetng wll be under the General Regulatons of the Motor Sports Assocaton (ncorporatng the provsons of the Internatonal Sportng Code of the FIA), these Supplementary Regulatons, the Seres/Champonshp Regulatons of the Seres/Champonshps (f applcable) n the lst below and any wrtten nstructons ssued for the event by the organsers. All tmngs wll be confrmed n Fnal Instructons. 2. ELIGIBLE CARS AND COMPETITORS AND ENTRIES. ELIGIBLE VEHICLES - All vehcles must comply wth Seres/Champonshp Techncal Regulatons where approprate.. JUDGES - The Judges of Fact wll be publshed n an offcal bulletn aw G ENTRIES - Entres open on publcaton of these Regulatons and close on Tuesday 25 th July 201. Entry fees and other detal are on the entry form. Entry fees and passes ssued wll be n accordance wth ndvdual Seres/Champonshp Regulatons, where applcable or accordng to the entry forms. All personnel and vehcle passes wll dentfy the team to whch they are ssued, and are ssued on the condton that they are strctly not for resale. All passes reman the property of MSV/MSVR as applcable. Falure to comply wth the above wll be consdered a breach of these Regulatons and the condtons of admsson of the landowner. Only vehcles wth the relevant passes wll be admtted to the paddock. No prvate cars wll be allowed n the Paddock unless specfcally authorsed. Entrants or ther accredted representatves wll be responsble for all persons concerned wth ther entry complyng wth these Regulatons. In addton to MSA D, the Organsers reserve the rght to refuse an entry at ther dscreton. The number of starters permtted to start each race wll be n accordance wth the track lcence. MSVR reserve the rght to cancel or amalgamate races f entres fall below. MSVR reserve the rght to accept entres from compettors holdng a vald lcence ssued by any ASN. ENTRY FEES - Any entry not accompaned by the correct entry fee s not a vald entry. We wll accept race entres up to mdday on the Tuesday pror to a meetng. Full refunds wll be gven for any cancellatons receved before mdday on the Tuesday pror to a meetng. No refunds wll be gven for any cancellatons receved after ths deadlne, even f you have an accdent n testng n the days leadng up to the event. Bank charges for unpad cheques etc. wll be passed on to the compettor by the Club at the rate of 25 per transacton. Refunds - Unless otherwse stated n Seres/Champonshp Regulatons entry fees may be refunded to compettors who notfy the organsers, n wrtng, before noon on the Tuesday pror to the event and return all paperwork and tckets to the Entry Secretary. A stamped addressed envelope must accompany returned paperwork and passes. Surplus entres practsng n a sngle class race and falng to qualfy - No refund. Nomnated reserves who do not get a race wll be consdered for a refund and the amount wll depend on the crcumstances. NO REFUND wll be payable after noon on the Tuesday pror to the meetng. 12 Supplementary Regulatons Appendx A Notce to Compettors It s forbdden to hammer pegs or stakes nto any tarmac surface or depost fuel, ol or chemcal substances onto any tarmac surface n the paddock area. Any person damagng the surface may be excluded from the Event and the Compettor shall be subject to pay mmedately lqudated damages of 00. No markngs are to be made on the Crcut or paddock surfaces, the pt lane and pt garage floors. Roadways and the frelanes n the paddock area are kept clear at all tmes. Any vehcle parked n these areas to be towed away. All waste ol must be placed n the contaners provded and all used tyres and fuel contaners must be removed from the ste for safe and legal dsposal. Compettors must not wash vehcles so as to cause an undue nusance or partal floodng of the Venue or any part thereof. If ol or any other substance lkely to cause danger to others or to the track surface s beng dropped from any vehcle the compettor must ensure that the vehcle s stopped mmedately. MSV may seek damages from the compettor n the event of an excessve cleanng-up operaton caused through bad preparaton or neglgence. All vehcles takng part n the Event must comply wth the current nose lmts mposed by the relevant Governng Body, as measured n accordance wth the procedures contaned n the Regulatons. 1. Storage and Use of Petroleum Sprt 1.1 A maxmum of 25 ltres of fuel can be stored nsde each garage, at any one tme. 1.2 All petroleum sprt must be stored n approprate fuel contaners complyng wth all relevant safety standards, away from any source of gnton. 1. All empty contaners must be removed from the venue after the event. 1.5 Generators should be powered by desel and used n the open ar. 1. Approprate fre extngushers must be readly accessble near any fuel store or refuellng actvty. 1. Personnel must be traned and wear approprate fre retardant personal protectve equpment (PPE), before usng petrol; especally when refuellng. 1.8 Vehcle refuellng s to take place n the open ar where possble. As such t s unnecessary for Partcpants to carry large quanttes of fuel. 2. Hazardous Substances 2.1 Some vehcle parts, for example brake and clutch lnngs may contan asbestos. Partcpants are encouraged to use non-asbestos substtutes wherever possble. Where asbestos s used, every effort should be used to prevent asbestos dust gettng nto the ar. 2.2 Some mneral ols may cause skn cancer. Prolonged contact should therefore be avoded wherever possble. Where contact does occur any contamnaton should be washed off mmedately. The wearng of contamnated clothng (ncludng overalls) should also be avoded. 2. Varous other substances may cause dsease or ll health even after very short exposures. Manufacturers gudance must always be followed. Manufacturers and supplers of such substances are oblged to provde customers wth nformaton about the possble harmful effects of ther products upon request (Safety Data Sheets). 2. Personnel must be sutably traned and wear approprate personal protectve equpment (PPE), before usng any COSHH substances. 2.5 The requrements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulatons 2002 (COSHH) (as amended) must be compled wth.. Electrcal Safety.1 All portable electrcal equpment must be mantaned n a safe condton and hold a vald Portable Applance Test (PAT) Certfcate..2 Cables should be flexble (not of sem rgd type used for household wrng) and covered by mattng when crossng walkways or fre lanes. The Electrcty at Work Regulatons 18 must be compled wth, or any devatons documented.. Fre Precautons.1 Smokng s prohbted n all enclosed areas, ncludng wthout lmtaton n the pt garages and n the pt lane. Smokng s also prohbted n all MSV vehcles..2 All potental sources of gnton should be kept away from petroleum sprt and vapours. Clear no smokng sgnage dsplayed where possble.. Barbecues and cookng equpment are prohbted n pt areas, ncludng garages.. Fre extngushers must be annually servced or nspected, wth the date dsplayed on the bottle, for checkng..5 Temporary structures to have; an adequate gap separatng them from other structures, recommend mnmum meters; clearly dsplayed fre extngushers next to each fre ext door and clearly vsble fre ext sgnage above each fre door.. Fre lanes, roadways and hatch markngs to be kept clear at all tmes.. Ensure safe access and egress s avalable n and around team areas, ths ncludes the provson of adequate lghtng levels for evacuaton purposes..8 Caterng outlets should hold a mnmum of one fre blanket and an addtonal approprate fre extngusher.. Fre extngushers should not be removed from any fre ponts unless they are to be used on a fre.. All fres must be reported mmedately to an offcal, marshal or other member of staff, even f extngushed.. Personnel must be traned n the correct use of fre extngushers.. MSV permsson s requred before hot works commence on ste.. All fre notces and orders to evacuate must be compled wth..1 The requrements of the Regulatory Reform (Fre Safety) Order 2005 must be compled wth. 5. Workng at Heght 5.1 Personnel are encouraged to work at ground level where at all possble. 5.2 Personnel workng at heght must be protected from fallng eg. traned usng harnesses and ropes, or handrals. 5. All workng at heght must be well planned and supervsed wth safe systems of work followed. 5. Reassess workng at heght safe workng practces durng adverse weather condtons. 5.5 No one should work underneath those workng at heght. 5. Approprate non-slp footwear and personal protectve equpment to be worn. 5. No one s permtted to spectate from a truck roof, tal lft, generator, waste bn, or other nfrastructure on ste. 5.8 Manufacturer s gudance to be followed when usng ladders, step ladders and all workng at heght equpment. 5. Domestc ladders or step ladders must not be used on ste, only commercal ladders and step ladders. 5. All ladders, step ladders and any equpment must be checked for damage and removed from use where faulty. 5. The Workng at Heghts Regulatons 2005 must be adhered to.. Vehcle Safety.1 A maxmum mph speed lmt s n force on ste for all vehcles, ncludng bcycles, where permtted..2 Publc (and chldren) are permtted n workng paddock areas, therefore drvers/rders must take extra care n these tght localsed areas.. Venue sgnage must be adhered to.. All vehcles rdden or drven on ste must be road worthy and covered by a vald thrd-party nsurance (ncludng when rdng all mopeds, scooters and quad-bkes).

Keys must be removed from the gnton of all vehcles when parked or not n use.. Rders or passengers on scooters or motorbkes must not carry unsecured loads.. Hover-boards, electrc balance boards or equvalent (non road legal) electrc scooters are prohbted from ste (dsabled blue badge holders may be permtted to rde electrc vehcles to ad access, wth MSV permsson..1 Vehcles must be drven or rdden as per manufacturers nstructons and wth the set amount of passengers. (Eg. A 2 seat buggy must not carry more than 1 passenger wth the drver no standng on the back).. Breaches to ths gudance may result n vehcle keys beng taken and vehcles confscated untl teams leave ste.. Compressed Gas Equpment.1 Explosons from over nflaton of tyres can cause njury. Tyres should therefore not be nflated to pressures above the manufacturers' recommendatons..2 All arlnes should be n good condton, well mantaned and be nspected regularly.. Always stand clear when nflatng tyres and wear protectve eye wear.. Compressed gas equpment to be used by well traned personnel only, no under year olds. Any form of horseplay nvolvng compressed ar or gas s prohbted..5 Compressed gas cylnders should be stored safely, n a well ventlated, uprght postons, n accordance wth the relevant workng practces and legslaton.. The requrements of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulatons 2000 must be compled wth on ste. 8. Jacks and Axle Stands 8.1 Vehcles should only be rased and lfted on jacks and supported by axle stands whch are n good condton, well mantaned and rated to lft the vehcle weght safely. 8.2 Jack vehcles only on level undamaged ground. 8. Use the hand brake and chocks to stop the vehcle movng. 8. Vehcle engnes should not be run whlst the weght of the vehcle s supported. 8.5 Follow manufacturer s gudance for usng and mantanng equpment. Lftng Operatons and Equpment Regulatons 18 (LOLER), and Provson and Use of Work Equpment Regulatons 18 (PUWER), must be adhered to.. Nose.1 Exposure to excessve nose may result n hearng loss or other complants.
