3 Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship 1. FORMAT OF THE EVENT 1.1 For 2017, the Chmpionship will omprise of 4 regions with 2 rounds eh. An dditionl round my e run whose points will ount s per ompetitor s region delrtion. Winners of the regionl rounds will e invited to ompete ginst eh other in Ntionl Finl. 2. FORMAT OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP 2.1 The Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship will lso e the Mruti Suzuki FMSCI Indin Ntionl Autoross Chmpionship. 2.2 The Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship (Mruti Suzuki FMSCI Indin Ntionl Autoross Chmpionship) will e onduted over seven ity rounds divided in four Zones. The four Zones & the Cities overed re North o Gurgon o Chndigrh South o Bengluru o Coimtore West o Pune o Indore Est o Guwhti 2.3 The dtes nd the venues will e nnouned seprtely 2.4 Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship Finls d e f The Top 2 point Holders of eh Zone from eh lss will e eligile to prtiipte in Finl whih will e held seprtely in Noid. (Eight ontestnts from eh lss, 48 totl ontestnts ross 6 lsses). These Eight ontestnts will then ompete mong themselves for the Title of Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpion XXX Clss. There will e six suh ontests resulting in 6 Chmpions, one for eh Clss. The Six Chmpions my e joined y the top rnking runners up for ontest to determine the MARUTI SUZUKI FMSCI INDIAN NATIONAL CHAMPION. These finlists will ompete mong themselves in Identil Stok Crs provided y the orgniser. The rs will of the sme mke nd model nd identil in ondition. They will e llotted to the finlists y drw of lots. RULES: AMENDMENT, APPLICATION & INTERPRETATION Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship 6.1 The MARUTI SUZUKI AUTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP 2016 & the MARUTI SUZUKI FMSCI NATIONAL AUTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP 2017 will e run in onformity with: d The Interntionl Sporting Code of the FIA (the Code) nd its ppendies; The Ntionl Competition Rules of the FMSCI (nd its ppendies) This FMSCI Autoross Sporting Regultion nd its ppendies. The Supplementry Regultions pproved y the FMSCI of the speifi events. 6.2 Only the FMSCI my grnt wivers to these regultions. 6.3 APPLICATION AND INTERPRETATION OF THE REGULATIONS d The Clerk of the Course is hrged with the pplition of these regultions. The Clerk of the Course will inform the Stewrds of ny importnt inidents tht hve ourred, whih my require the pplition of the Presriptions, the relevnt regultions or the Regultions. Any reh of these regultions will e reported to the Stewrds, who my impose penlty s in Artiles 12.2 nd 12.3 of the FIA Interntionl Sporting Code (Code). The ultimte responsiility for prtiipnt nd vehile sfety lies with the prtiipnt, vehile owner, driver, nd rew memers. 8.2 The prtiipnt grees tht y entering the event, he hs hd the opportunity to inspet the event site nd knowledges tht the event site is sfe nd suitle for ompetition. 8.3 All drivers, ompetitors nd offiils prtiipting in the Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship& onurrent Lol Chmpionship, undertke, on ehlf of themselves, their employees nd gents, to oserve ll the provisions of these regultions. 8.4 It is the ompetitor's responsiility to ensure tht ll persons onerned y his/her entry oserve ll the requirements of the Code, the Tehnil Regultions nd the Sporting Regultions. If ompetitor is unle to e present in person, he must nominte his representtive in writing. The person hving hrge of n entered r during ny prt of n Event is responsile jointly nd severlly with the ompetitor for ensuring tht the requirements re oserved. 8.5 Competitors must ensure tht their rs omply with the onditions of eligiility nd sfety throughout prtie nd the re. 8.6 The presenttion of r for srutineering is deemed n impliit sttement of onformity to the regultions onerned. 8.7 All persons onerned in ny wy with n entered r, or present in ny other pity whtsoever in the pddok or on the trk, must wer n pproprite pss t ll times. 8.8 All/ ny prtiulrs given t the time of registrtion should e true. It is the duty of eh ompetitor to stisfy the Srutineers nd the Stewrds of the ompetition tht his utomoile omplies with these regultions in their entirety t ll times during the ompetition. CODE OF COMPETITOR CONDUCT 8.11 In ddition to the regultions, the ompetitor will lso e deemed to hve rehed the Competition Rules nd will e lile for sntions under the following onditions. Any frudulent proeeding or t prejudiil to the interests of the Orgniser, Northern Motorsport, FMSCI or of the event generlly. Rekless or dngerous driving, either on ourse or in the pits nd pddok re. Filure to oey diretion or order of n offiil. d Refusing to ooperte with, interfering with, or ostruting the tions of the Chief Stewrd, the event offiils in the performne of their duties. e Unsportsmnlike ondut or physil violene towrd ny other prtiipnt or spettor t the event. f No speeding/testing is permitted in the viinity of the venue inluding the Pit Are. g No tire wrm ups (urn outs, driving in irles, rke tests, et.) re permitted on or off the event site, inluding the grid re h Speed limit on the event site outside of the designted ourse re is 10 KMPH. i Vehiles my not e driven in the pits or grid other thn to enter or exit the ourse. j Any littering of the event re is stritly prohiited under pin of exlusion. DRIVERS ELIGIBILITY 8.12 Drivers must hold vlid FMSCI Liense (Autoross Liense or Ntionl Rlly / Re Liense inluding Entrnt liense) to drive in ny of the tegories in the Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship Although it is not ompulsory for ompetitor vehile to hve rlly over insurne for the period of the event. The Entrnt/Drivers ttention is prtiulrly drwn to the ft tht the norml Motor Poliies issued in Indi DO NOT provide ny over for Motorsports The Clerk of the ourse or his nominted offiils my t their sole disretion exlude ompetitor who is deemed unfit for resons of Helth or onsumption of/under the influene of lohol or drugs. ELIGIBLE VEHICLES Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship 9.1 This hmpionship will e open to ALL types of Crs, SUV s nd Jeeps. 9.2 Soft top vehiles re not llowed. 9.3 Any Type of Fuel is permitted provided it omplies with Government/RTO Lws. 9.4 Unstle vehiles with high entre of grvity nd nrrow trk, inluding ertin SUVs, minivns, nd 4WD pikups, my e exluded on evlution y the orgnisers. 9.5 After eptne of the entry the ompetitor my reple the r delred in the entry form if required prior to the strt of qulifying upon pyment of fee of INR 1,000/ per hnge, provided this is informed to the event seretry, orreted in the entry form nd doumenttion ompleted for the repled r. However, the entered ompetitor nnot e hnged. 10. ENTRY FEE Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship Entry fees for the lol Autoross & the Chmpionship will e divided into 3 prts s follows: 12.1 NON CHAMPIONSHIP (CITY ROUND) Amteur Non Chmpionship (Group AMSTK) First Entry: INR 500 Seond Entry: INR 1,000 Third Entry: INR 2,000 Fourth & Susequent Entries: INR 3,000 eh Professionl First Entry: INR 2,000 Seond Entry: INR 2,500 Third Entry: INR 3,000 Fourth Entry: INR 3,500 Fifth & Susequent Entries: INR 4,000 eh 12.2 CHAMPIONSHIP First Entry: INR 2,000 Seond Entry: INR 2,500 Third Entry: INR 3,000 Fourth Entry: INR 3,500 Fifth & Susequent Entries: INR 4,000 eh 12.3 The numer of entries would e lulted ross ll Groups & Clsses for Chmpionship & Non Chmpionship events 12.4 FMSCI Liene For the Non Chmpionship City Round the minimum requirement is the FMSCI Clusport liene. For prtiipting in the Chmpionship the minimum requirement is the FMSCI Rlly liene. Prtiipnts otin this y pplying diretly t the FMSCI wesite (fmsi.in). Prtiipnts n otin these lienes y pplying diretly t the FMSCI wesite (fmsi.in) nd filling out n online pplition form nd following the steps detiled The Orgnising Committee reserves the right to refuse the entry of Competitor or Driver, giving the reson for suh refusl (Artile 3.14 of the Code) Any hnge of Competitor fter the eptne of the entry is foridden. 12 13.1 AMATEUR: An Amteur is deemed to e ompetitor who hs Mruti Suzuki Autoross Chmpionship Not prtiipted in ny Re, Rlly or Rid or Speed sed Motorsport event in the Extreme, Speed or Stge tegory. Prtiiption in TSD event is NOT disqulifier. Not qulified for podium finish in ny Clu Sport Speed event for the lst 2 yers The prtiipnt would hve to delre his Amteur or Pro sttus in the entry form. However, the determintion of the sttus of prtiipnt s Amteur or PRO rests solely with the orgnizers. Wrong delrtion would entil exlusion TEAM ENTRIES For Non Chmpionship, Tem registrtion fee: INR 3,000/. Tem Entry fee would e INR 500/ per entry in ddition to the Entry fee. For Chmpionship, 10, Tem registrtion fee: INR 10,000/ per region. Tem Entry fee would e INR 500/ per entry in ddition to the Entry fee PAYMENT Entry Fees my e pid online. Entries reeived t the Offie nd venue must e pid in sh t the time of registrtion. Cheques/ Credit rds et. my not e epted t the offie & t the venue. An entrnt will e llowed to prtiipte only if the pyment is mde in full REFUNDS Registrtion & Entry fee will e refunded only in se the event does not tke ple. SAFETY COMPLIANCE 15.1 DRIVERS SAFETY: In ddition to the onditions speified in the FMSCI Autoross Tehnil Regultions, No driver will e llowed to tke prt in ny offiil prtie, hets if ny, qulifying or re unless they hve the following: Driver should wer suitle lothes; Shorts re not permitted. A Driving Suit is reommended During the event, ll drivers prtiipting should wer Brnded BIS (minimum) mrked Sfety Helmet nd shll e properly hrnessed in the set elt. The helmet hin strp should e seurely fstened while ompeting. Footwer should e suh tht shoes overing the entire foot shll e worn. d All loose items, inside nd outside the r, must e removed. Hnd held items, suh s ut not limited to, mers nd ell phones re onsidered loose items. e The side window must remin t lest three qurters losed during his run. The ove re some inditive requirements. A omplete list of requirements re detiled in the FMSCI Autoross Tehnil Regultions 15.2 VEHICLE COMPLIANCE A vehile will not e llowed to strt unless it onforms to the sfety requirements detiled in the FMSCI Autoross Tehnil Regultions. In se the COC or ny Judge of ft finds ny vehile unfit for ompetition on sfety grounds the sme my e exluded t their disretion. The ompetitor will hve to ept suh ruling RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT Detiled in the FMSCI Autoross Tehnil Regultions 16. INSURANCE 16.1 ALL ENTRANTS MUST SIGN THE INDEMNITY DECLARATION ALONG WITH THE ENTRY FORM 16.2 Prtiipnts It is reommended to hve Speil Rlly Coverge for the vehile during the event. Eh prtiipnt my e provided on the spot, one dy PA overge (for Insurne overge inside the ourse re) during the event on pyment of fees to the insurne ompny. The pplile fees must e notified. Only during the running of the event, ll FMSCI Competition Liense holders re insured for Personl Aident Insurne of INR 5,00,000 & Hospitliztion enefits of INR 5,00,000 (Full lim upto INR 3 Ls & 90% for the lne INR 2 Ls). However, it is strongly dvised tht ll Drivers nd rew tke neessry nd dequte dditionl insurne overs on their own inluding hospitliztion enefits. d All vehiles must hve minimum third prty insurne nd it is strongly reommended tht they lso tke out Speil Rlly over (with hospitliztion enefit), vlid for the period of the event.
