After one full season in BNT V8 Supertourer s Dominic is ready to win in the 2014/15 Championship. 6 BNT V8 SUPERTOURERS A PROVEN RETURN ON INVESTEMENT BNT V8 SuperTourers roared into life in 2012 and surprised many motorsport fans both in NZ and around the world. But it was no surprise to those stalwarts who dug deep into their pockets and invested millions. After a couple of test laps in the prototype car, Kiwi Supercar legend Greg Murphy was hooked and 20 others have followed him since. The identical make up of the cars has been its strength coupled with its impressive on-track performance. When it comes to speed, it is on par with its Australian V8 Supercar cousins. The BNT V8 SuperTourers evolved from a simple philosophy of using the best components and the best V8 designers, engineers and builders. A result of this was the creation of a new generation, future-proofed V8 touring car. The big difference is the V8 SuperTourers all run the same running gear which makes for very close racing. In fact, there is only one second between the fastest and the slowest during qualifying. All cars our powered by a 7.0 litre 565hp V8 motor which gives a spine tingling ring of performance. In two years the category has undeniably proven itself to be the best domestic motor racing series to ever grace the race tracks of New Zealand. Testament to this is its huge fan base and the numerous large companies that currently sponsor the series and SuperTourer teams. The growth will continue as it heads into the 2014/2015 championship series. New stars are emerging and the series attracts over 12 current Supercar drivers for the Enduro rounds, as co-drivers. 8 WHY SPONSOR? Motor racing is one of the largest spectator sports in New Zealand, drawing more paying spectators than most Kiwis would imagine. Enthusiastic audiences respond to products and ideas associated with competition and when it comes to competition there s not much that goes faster or harder than 13,000 horses into the first corner at a motor race circuit. The value of motorsports sponsorship in increasing your customer base is evident in the heavy sponsorship involvement of companies like Mike Pero, BNT, UDC, Holden, Ford, CRC, Placemakers, Mitre 10, Castrol, BP, and about 20 different radio stations. TRACKSIDE BRANDING - At each event there is an opportunity for your brand to engage directly with the fans. There is a huge amount of foot traffic in both the Fan Zone and pit complex. Gloria Jeans Coffee for example run a coffee merchandise stand handing out thousand s of coffee samples each weekend. HOTLAPS worth $450 each - 270km/h Hotlaps are widely regarded as a once in a lifetime experience. These are on offer to clients, staff and sponsors guests at each event. We have the opportunity to take up to eight sponsor rides on race morning during the Hotlap session. These are a great way to excite the guests just before the big race! Exclusive days are also on offer. HOSPITALITY - V8 Supertourer s offers its corporate sponsors the opportunity to take up trackside hospitality at each round. This is a great way to form new business relationships with other series and team sponsors.

11 HOW CAN I LEVERAGE THIS? ADVERTISING MATERIAL - Make use of the material provided, use images of the racecar and Dominic for your advertising campaigns. HOTLAP DAYS - Depending on your level of investement Hotlap s will be available at the rounds and on allocated Hotlap day s, utilize these rides as staff incentives and or giveaways during promotions. EVENTS - If you hold event s within the company, the racecar is always available to be on show. Dominic can also be made available as a guest speaker. MARKETING INITIATIVES- Run text to win promotions or advertise new products or upcoming events on the race car. In-car advertising is a very effective tool for this. Gloria Jeans Coffee s text promotion received 650+hits within 2 minutes during the live coverage. HOSPITALITY - Hospitality provides a great way to invite clients, staff or potential business to enjoy a fantastic day trackside. TRACKSIDE BRANDING - At each event supply promotional material to be handed out trackside. Hundred s of thousands pass through the pits each season, utilize this foot traffic to promote products or new business.
