We at Bridge View Angus are self-owned and operated family farmers. We take great pride in selecting the best A.I. sires in the Angus Breed, mate them to functional efficient females using technology and grow them on quality forage. The 2015 Sale offering will once again provide an excellent selection of cattle to fit most any segment of the beef cattle industry. The fall heifer calves have excellent show ring potential and the timing of the sale comes right before the start of the busy summer show season. The bred heifers have both the quality and the bloodlines to work in any herd in the Angus business. The mature cow division of the sale includes more pairs, both fall and spring, than in the past sales. The bull division is strong. Check the chart on page 23 that compares the sale bulls this year with all Angus bulls. The Bridge View bulls excel over the national herd average in all of the listed categories. Sincerely, The covered bridge at the community of Switzer, 10 miles northeast of Frankfort, was built in 1855 to carry traffic across the north fork of Elkhorn Creek. When the old bridge was replaced by a modern concrete bridge in 1954, the 120-foot-long covered bridge was preserved and became a favorite historical attraction in the county.
