END OF SEASON INFORMATION Reno Aces (70-74, 3rd, Pacific Northern Division) That s a Wrap: The Aces finished the 2015 season with a mark, good for third place in the Pacific Northern Division. They spent the following number of days alone or tied at each position in the standings: First - 6, Second - 43, Third - 84, Fourth D-backs Rehab Assignments: Six players joined the Aces on rehab assignments throughout the season. Phil Gosselin, Oscar Hernandez, Gerald Laird, Jake Lamb, Archie Bradley and Jeremy Hellickson all played for Reno while on the Diamondbacks disabled list. The four at the plate combined to hit.292 (21-for-72) with 11 RBI, 7 runs scored and 9 doubles. Bradley and Hellickson did not factor into a decision and combined on a 5.40 ERA with 7 strikeouts in 10 innings. A Win on Opening Day: In the seven-year history of the Aces, the club is 4-3 in its season opener. On April 9, 2015, Reno went to Albuquerque and notched an 8-2 win over the Isotopes to open the season. They have won openers in 2010, 12, 13 and Club: With a 4-3 win over El Paso on August 3, the Aces notched win number 500 in franchise history. The Aces earned win No. 400 on June 1, 2014 with a 7-4 win in Las Vegas. Three in the Top 10: For the second time in franchise history, the Aces had three players finish with a batting average in the PCL top-10. Mike Freeman finished 4th with a.317 average, Danny Worth was 6th with a.314 average and Nick Evans tied for 8th at.310. In 2012, Adam Eaton finished 1st at.381, Ryan Wheeler was 2nd at.351 and Jake Elmore tied for 3rd at.344. The Aces also put multiple players in the top-10 in 2013 (Chris Owings and Brad Snyder) and 2014 (Andy Marte and Nick Ahmed). Three-headed Monster: Few teams could match the run and power production from Reno s Jamie Romak, Peter O Brien and Nick Evans in The trio combined for 438 hits, 70 homers, 114 doubles, 301 RBI, 243 runs scored and 786 total bases. At the Triple-A level, no trio of teammates bested the combined numbers of Romak, O Brien and Evans in those six categories. Rewriting the Record Books: Jamie Romak, Peter O Brien and Nick Evans strong seasons catapulted them into the Aces single-season record books. Romak s 27 home runs tied Cody Ransom s singleseason record set in Romak totaled 100 RBI (2nd), 267 total bases (2nd), 42 doubles (3rd) and 87 runs scored (7th) as well. O Brien steamrolled past Mike Jacobs single-season RBI record of 97 (set in 2014) and eventually became the first player in Aces history to crack the 100-RBI barrier. He finished with 107 RBI, most in Triple-A and second-most in all of Minor League baseball. O Brien racked up an Aces single-season record 270 total bases, and he also sits third with 26 homers and tied for seventh in doubles with 35. Evans led the Aces in the hits department with 161, third-most in Aces single-season history. That total was good for third-most in Triple-A and was tied for eighth in Minor League baseball. Evans also placed his name among the Aces single-season record books in RBI (94, 4th), doubles (37, T-5th) and total bases (249, 6th). NEVIN S SECOND SEASON The Aces were under the direction of Manager Phil Nevin for the second consecutive season. In his first season with the Aces, he guided them to a franchise-tying-best record of His squad won the Pacific Northern Division and Pacific Conference Championship Series before falling 3 games to 2 in the PCL Championship Series to Omaha. This year, his Aces finished third in the Pacific Northern Division with a record, including a mark at Aces Ballpark. Prior to his stint with the Aces, Nevin spent three seasons ( ) at the helm of the Toledo Mud Hens of the International League. Nevin is the second manager in club history as Brett Butler served in the role from Butler began his second season as the Miami Marlins third base coach after being hired during the offseason, but resigned from the position this season. Home Run Kings: Jamie Romak s 27 homers were the most of any player in the Pacific Coast League. Peter O Brien finished with 26, tied for second with Sacramento s Adam Duvall who was traded in late July to the Cincinnati Reds. Coincidentally, Romak and O Brien both participated in the Triple-A Home Run Derby at Omaha, becoming the first pair of Aces teammates to do so. Romak finished third in the competition while O Brien came up short in the finals to take runner-up. Extra, Extra, Read All About It: Jamie Romak finished with 72 extra-base hits, tops in Triple-A and second-most in Minor League baseball. Peter O Brien racked up 70 extra-base hits, second in Triple-A and tied for third-most in Minor League Baseball. Extra-inning games were not kind to the Aces, however. Reno finished with a 1-8 record in extra-inning affairs, worst in the PCL and tied with Low-A South Bend s 1-8 mark in the Midwest League for the worst in Minor League baseball. Accolades-R-Us: With their impressive seasons, Jamie Romak and Peter O Brien were named to the All-PCL team. O Brien was named as one of the three outfielders, and Romak was listed as the PCL s designated hitter. Reno was joined by El Paso as the only teams in the PCL with multiple players on the squad. O Brien and Romak were also named to the PCL mid-season All-Star team. O Brien and Romak s naming to the All-PCL team marked the fourth time in seven years that two or more Aces have made the team. Where There s a Will, There s a May: Nick Evans, Jamie Romak and Peter O Brien wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers all season long, but none more than they did in the month of May. Evans totaled 31 RBI, tied for second-most in a single month in Aces history, while Romak and O Brien racked up 26 RBI apiece, tied for eighth-most. Dan the Man: Aces 1B/OF Danny Dorn had one of the more amazing seasons in franchise history, ultimately earning him his first trip to the big leagues. In 75 games, Dorn hit.386 (103-for-267) with 57 runs, 53 RBI, 26 doubles, 3 triples and 10 home runs, undoubtedly the best numbers of his career. A 2-for-5 game on opening night in Albuquerque set the stage for Dorn who held his average north of.400 through his first 63 games with the Aces, peaking at.532 on May 19. He hit.418 against right-handed pitching,.428 in 45 games before the All-Star break and.429 in 13 day games. Blair s Dominance: Right-handed starter Aaron Blair more than held his own in the hitter-friendly PCL. The Las Vegas native went 7-2 with a 3.16 ERA over 13 games, and he averaged six-plus innings per start, totaling 74 innings in 12 starts. Following a shaky start in his Aces and Triple-A debut against Tacoma, the 23-year-old got better as the season progressed. After his arrival on June 17 from Double-A Mobile, he lowered his ERA in each month, going from 4.86 in June to 4.19 in July, followed by a miniscule 2.40 mark in August and a 0.82 clip in September. He was at his best on the road where he finished 4-1 with a 2.33 ERA in six starts, including a.199 batting average against. From June 17-September 7, Blair limited opponents to a.236 batting average against, fifth-best among PCL qualifiers during that time frame. Blair entered the 2015 season as Arizona s No. 3 overall prospect according to Baseball America, and he lived up to his billing as one of the top prospects in the game. Blair s 6+ IP Streak: Aces starter Aaron Blair made 11 consecutive starts in which he pitched at least six innings. The streak is the longest in Aces franchise history. Billy Buckner had a streak of nine straight starts of six-plus innings from July 16-August 26, Seth Etherton put together a 8-start streak in 2009 and Matt Torra had an 8-start streak in 2010.

2 Misc. FINAL GAME INFORMATION - Page 2 Revolving Door: Aces skipper Phil Nevin utilized a franchise-record 38 pitchers this season. A total of 18 pitchers started at least one game, including 13 who made at least four starts. Additionally, eight different pitchers recorded at least one save, with Jake Barrett (11), Kaleb Fleck (7), Enrique Burgos (5) and Addison Reed (5) all notching five-plus saves. Aces Fans Are Gr8: Aces fans came out in waves in Despite the Aces losing two openings due to inclement weather and having just 70 home openings in total, fans still packed Aces Ballpark, resulting in a franchise-record eight sellout crowds. From , the ballpark saw a total of nine sellout crowds. Not so Fast, My Friend: As expected with a power-packed lineup, the Aces were not fleet of foot on the basepaths. The Aces totaled a PCL-low 43 stolen bases. In 2014, the Aces finished last in the PCL with 71 stolen bases. The two lowest stolen base team totals since Reno joined the league in 2009 were Las Vegas (50, 2009) and Sacramento (58, 2013) before Reno s output this season. High-Octane Offense: The Aces ranked in the top four of many major offensive categories in the Pacific Coast League. The list included: total bases (2,250, 1st), slugging percentage (.454, 1st), batting average (.286, 1st), doubles (339, 1st), OPS (.800, 1st), hits (1,421, 2nd), runs scored (758, T-3rd), on-base percentage (.347, T-3rd) and home runs (138, 4th). Right at Home: Infielder Brandon Drury joined the Aces on June 22 after a promotion from Double-A Mobile. The youngster flourished with Reno, especially at Aces Ballpark. The Oregon native recorded a hit in 26 consecutive games at Aces Ballpark, the longest home hitting streak in the PCL (Salt Lake s Josh Rutledge had the second-longest streak at 18 games). Drury handled Triple-A pitching to the tune of a.303 (83-for-251) average with 26 doubles in 63 games, spanning June 22-August 31. His 26 two-baggers during that time frame were second-most in Minor League baseball and his 83 hits were second-most in Triple-A. During his time in the minors from April 9-August 31 this year, he racked up 159 hits and 40 doubles in 130 games. Feeling Free: The Aces won in walk-off fashion at Aces Ballpark five times in Two of the five walk-off victories were provided by Mike Freeman. On April 19 against Albuquerque, Reno led 4-2 after seven innings, but the Isotopes rallied with one run in the eighth and another in the ninth off Jake Barrett to tie the game at four. Freeman wasted no time in the bottom of the ninth, however, when he smashed a first-pitch fastball from Tommy Kahnle off the batter s eye in center field to win the game. The walk-off homer was the 11th in franchise history. Nearly three calendar months later, Freeman again gave the Aces a walk-off win over Albuquerque. On July 20, the Aces picked up their lone victory when trailing after eight innings. Trailing 5-0 after seven innings, Jamie Romak blasted a threerun homer in the eighth to make it 5-3. In the ninth facing Jairo Diaz, Romak tied the game with a two-out, two-run single, before Freeman ended it with a walk-off single to center. Five Guys: Danny Worth was a perfect 5-for-5 on June 13 at Las Vegas, marking the 11th time in Aces history that an Aces player recorded five hits in a game. Brandon Drury then bested Worth with a pair of five-hit games; July 29 vs. Fresno and August 18 at Colorado Springs. Drury joined A.J. Pollock (2012) as the only players to have two five-hit games in an Aces uniform. The Home Runs Started Early: Peter O Brien and Danny Dorn became the first pair of Aces teammates to homer on Opening Day when they both launched a long ball on April 9 in Albuquerque. O Brien became the second Aces player to homer in his first at-bat on Opening Day, joining Jeff Bailey who did it in Welcome to the States: Yasmany Tomás played in his first official game in the United States on April 10 in Albuquerque. The Cuban defect started in right-field and went 2-for-5 in Reno s 2-1 loss. His stay with the Aces was brief as he appeared in five games and went 4-for-21 before joining the Diamondbacks for the remainder of No Rain Here: In the seven-year franchise history of the Reno Aces, one thing has been a constant: a winning record over the Tacoma Rainiers. In all seven seasons, Reno has won the season series against Tacoma, including a 9-7 mark against the Rainiers in Overall, the Aces have a record against Tacoma, including a mark at Aces Ballpark. In a Pinch: Pinch-hitters had a fair amount of success for the Aces this season, hitting at a.264 (33-for-125) clip. Collectively, the team knocked in 10 runs and had 7 extra-base hits (2 HR, 5 2B) in pinch-hit situations. Garrett Weber and Trayvon Robinson had the pinch-hit home runs and Nick Buss and Mike Freeman had 4 pinch-hits to lead the team. 5+: Six players contributed to nine different 5+ RBI games this season. Jamie Romak had three, Danny Dorn had two and Nick Evans, Peter O Brien, Cody Ransom and Danny Worth all had games with 5+ RBI. Ransom had the highest individual game total when he drove in a career-high seven runs against Fresno on June 7. Romak and Evans each had a game when they knocked in six runs. 25 to 65: The Aces opening day roster featured 13 pitchers and 12 position players. By the end of the season, another 25 pitchers and 15 position players had donned the Aces uniform, totaling 65 for the season, second-most in team history. #AcesWhoRake: As a team, the Aces recorded 15 or more hits in a game 16 different times. In those 16 affairs, the Aces compiled an 11-5 record. Reno posted double-digit run totals in 11 of the 16 games. Double the Fun: On August 26 against Nashville, the Aces set a new single-game franchise record with nine doubles. Todd Glaesmann led the attack with three doubles, marking the 12th time in franchise history that a player recorded three doubles in a game. Brandon Drury accomplished the three-double feat two times in 2015 as well. Glaesmann s strong effort came during his PCL Player of the Week honor in which he became the first player in the PCL over the last ten years to record nine doubles in a single week. Leadoff Pop: Entering the season, the Aces had a total of nine leadoff home runs. The 2015 squad nearly matched that total with seven leadoff blasts. Garrett Weber led the charge with three, Nick Buss had two, and both Mike Freeman and Jamie Romak each recorded one. Weber has four of the 16 leadoff home runs in Aces franchise history, one better than Adam Eaton who hit three in Forever Young: 39-year-old Cody Ransom returned to the Aces for the first time since 2012, and the journeyman still displayed some power, launching six home runs in 167 atbats. Ransom set a personal record on June 7 at Fresno when he totaled seven RBI, thanks to a pair of three-run home runs. The multi-homer game was the seventh of his career and first since June 21, 2011, when he hit two for Reno against Las Vegas at Aces Ballpark. What Time Is It?: For the third time in franchise history, the Aces played a 15-inning game. On August 19 at Oklahoma City, the Aces let a 5-2 lead slip away in the ninth inning. The Dodgers tied the game in the ninth and the two teams traded zeroes until Darwin Barney hit a three-run walk-off blast in the home half of the 15th. The game lasted 4 hours and 41 minutes, the second-longest game time-wise in Aces history. Workhorse: On August 8 at Tacoma, right-handed starter Jhoulys Chacin delivered a memorable performance on the mound. The 27-year-old - who signed a Minor League contract with the D-backs in mid-june - threw a franchise-record 128 pitches (70 strikes) in a 6-3 win over the Rainiers. Six walks drove Chacin s pitch count up, but the former Rockie limited the Rainiers to three first-inning runs and six hits in 7 2/3 innings. Over his 13 starts with Reno, Chacin averaged 6 2/3 innings and 99 pitches per start. Streaky Play: The first-half slate of games for the Aces saw many lengthy winning and losing streaks. Prior to the All-Star break, the Aces had one losing streak of four games (April 15-18), two losing streaks of five games (April 23-27; June 11-15) and three losing streaks of six games (April 30-May 5; May 17-23; June 3-8). On the flipside, Reno reeled off four straight wins four times (April 19-22; May 24-27; June 27-29; July 9-12), in addition to two six-game winning streaks (May 10-16; June 18-24). After the All-Star break, the Aces had just one losing streak of four games (July 16-19) and one winning streak of four games (August 26-29). Going the Distance: Right-hander Gabriel Arias threw his first complete-game shutout in nearly five years when he blanked Fresno for seven innings in an 8-0 game-one win of a doubleheader at Aces Ballpark on June 27. He scattered five hits with two walks and one strikeout while throwing 85 pitches, 54 for strikes. The only other complete-game shutout of his career came on August 7, 2010, when he blanked the DSL Cubs while playing for the DSL Phillies. On-Base Machines: Garrett Weber reached base safely via hit, walk or hit by pitch in 28 consecutive games, the fifth-longest streak in the PCL during Nick Evans had a 24-gamer, Brandon Drury had a streak of 22 games and Mike Freeman had an on-base streak of 21 games as well. The quartet made the Aces one of three teams in the PCL (Omaha and Salt Lake) who had four players with on-base streaks of 21-plus games. Rocky Mountain High: On August 18, the Aces posted season-highs in runs and hits at Colorado Springs. Reno clubbed the Milwaukee Brewers-affiliated Sky Sox with a win behind 23 hits offensively. Brandon Drury led the charge with a 5-for-6 performance in which he fell a triple shy of the cycle. Danny Dorn went 4-for-6 with 5 RBI, 3 runs, 2 doubles and a homer, and leadoff hitter Mike Freeman finished 4-for-5 with 3 runs scored. Peter O Brien drove home 4 RBI, three coming on a home run in the second inning as part of his 3-for-6 day, while Jordan Pacheco went 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored from the eight-spot in the lineup. The Total Package: Peter O Brien s 270 total bases were good for fourth-most in all of Minor League Baseball, while Jamie Romak s 267 sat right behind O Brien in fifth. Nick Evans 249 total bases were good for 19th as well. No trio of teammates collected as many combined total bases in all of Minor League Baseball. Not-So-Average May: During the month of May, the Aces led the PCL in batting average (.299) and runs per game (169 R/29 G; 5.82). Reno s.299 average for the month of May was the best in all of Minor League Baseball, ahead of Triple-A Indianapolis and Double-A Northwest Arkansas who both hit.291 during the month. The 5.82 runs scored per game was best in Triple-A and fifth overall in MiLB during May as well. Shooting Blanks: The Aces pitching staff posted four shutout victories in Reno failed to post a shutout win until their 75th game -- the longest shutout drought to begin a season in franchise history before Gabriel Arias twirled a doubleheader-shortened completegame shutout against Fresno on June 27. Exactly one month later, Caleb Clay delivered five scoreless against Las Vegas in a 3-0 victory. Aaron Blair then showed his late-season dominance by throwing six shutout frames in back-to-back starts, the first at Tacoma on August 5 and the next against Salt Lake on August 11 at Aces Ballpark.
