Passed Add Concessions positions to bylaws. Passed Add pictures to Fundraising coordinator duties. Passed Keep 1st VP duties the same. Passed Change league insurance duties to President. Passed Add tournament and winterball responsibilities to 3rd VP duties. Passed Do not add Head Scorekeeper to executive. Didn t pass Amanda M said the registration numbers are 6U 26, 8U 53, 10U 33 and 16U 10. Add 3rd 10U and 12U teams, 5 teams in 8U and 3 teams in 6U. Alonzo said having 6U play only infield would allow for more players to experience more play time. Opening day ceremonies will be held on a Saturday so all divisions will participate and first games will be played the next day with regular Saturday games starting the following weekend. Sandra said paint has been purchased. Jessica said Hernandez airbrush won t be able to make it to Saturday s opening ceremony but will be there for the first games on Sunday. Edgar said we are interleaguing this season. Bill Hicks with Alpine will be creating and interleague schedule. TOC will be played amongst ECASA teams. The leagues that will

3 be participating are 8U: Alpine 4 teams, Coronado 2 teams, Lakeside 3 teams, Ramona 4 teams, Rancho San Diego 6 teams, Valley Mesa 3 teams. 10U: Alpine 3 teams, Coronado 2 teams, Lakeside 3 teams, Ramona 3 teams, Rancho San Diego 5 teams, Valley Mesa 2 teams. 12U: Alpine 2 teams, Coronado 2 teams, Lakeside 2 teams, Ramona 3 teams, Rancho San Diego 2 teams, Valley Mesa 2 teams. 14U: Alpine 2 teams, Coronado 1 team, Lakeside 1 team, Navajo 3 teams, Ramona 1 team, Rancho San Diego 5 teams, Valley Mesa 1 team. If a player does not attend tryouts and has not been placed on a protected player list they will be placed into a pool to be drawn at random during the draft. Edgar said his friend Gary Cole donated a lot of good equipment to the league. Dennis will inventory the gear and try to create equipment bags to lend to new coaches. Alonzo said he believes 8U pitchers should be evaluated during tryouts. Amanda F asked what happens if a pitcher does not attend tryouts. The rules state that if a pitcher does not go to tryouts they are ineligible to pitch for the first half of the season. Jessica said if the pitcher is known by all coaches or has pitched in the past 12 months with ECASA and is unable to attend tryouts they will be placed in a separate fishbowl if there is more than one. Kara researched uniform prices with Pro Specialists Group and Sportsland. For uniforms and socks Sportland was $2 cheaper and could provide last minute uniforms if needed. Will purchase through Sportland. Manager s meeting at Kennedy 1/9/15 at 6:30 pm. Protected player forms are due by the end of the meeting.

4 Roundtable: Ray had some recommendations. Said he sees a lot of coming soon posts on our website but would like to see ECASA s history as well. When we started, Corky s story, etc. Asked about the tax ID status. One year is completed but the other two are still being processed. Missing out on opportunities for the league while in limbo. was wondering if there was anyway to expedite the process. Believes that everyone going out to a few places and asking for assistance could bring in a little money. Amanda M said that it could be a slippery slope because if we don t mention the leagues non profit status we could get in trouble but bringing it up is like airing the league s dirty laundry. Troy said that the casinos wouldn t necessarily need a tax ID. Ray said that tiles are great but $40 seems a little too expensive. Could we lower the price and still make a profit? Ray said concessions might want to do inventory and create a list of needs and wants before the beginning of the season. He said the fields crew would be walking through the fields and working on issues. Has been researching boxes to place equipment in between the 8 and 10U fields. New is approximately $400 $600 and there was a couple on Craigslist for around $200. Will be looking into the plumbing at Magnolia and inquiring if the plumbing under the snack bar is covered by the school. All board members should create a list of wants and needs that apply to their positions. Thinks that we should follow up on the division reps. Ray also noted that since increasing the 6U registration fees we have less players. Jessica said that we have to charge now but once our tax ID status is fixed we can revisit charging less.

5 Alonzo said maybe the league shouldn t pay for trophies and have teams arrange to purchase their own. Jessica said it s difficult to ask families to give more money. Anthony said that the 6U division needs more basic fundamental training to prepare the kids for the next division. Wants to utilize the 6U rules and regulations. Keith said that a list should be created of what the players should know before going up to the next division and provided to the managers. Motion to adjourn by Edgar. 2nd by Keith.
