2 THE MOST OUT OF MORALES: Kendrys Morales connected for three home runs on 8/31 at BAL while driving in a career-high seven runs It marked the 20 th multi- HR game of his career and his 3 rd of 2017 Was his 2 nd career 3-HR game (also 9/20/15 for KC at DET) He became the 37 th player in MLB history to have a 3-HR game for more than one team and is one of just two active players to do so, the other being Victor Martinez who did it for CLE and DET (courtesy Elias). Morales became the first player in Jays history with 4 hits, 3-HR and 7-RBI in a contest and their 4 th batter to reach 3+ HR and 7+ RBI in the same game (last: Michael Saunders, 6/17/16 at BAL - 3- HR, 8-RBI) Morales is one of two DH s in MLB history to have 3-HR and 7-RBI with 4 hits while scoring four times (Harold Baines - 5/7/91 vs. BAL) Morales is also the 17 th different Blue Jay to hit 3+ HR in a game (last: Donaldson - 3-HR on 8/28/16 vs. MIN)...Had five 4+ RBI games this season, all against AL East opponents (also 3 vs. TB). IT ALL STARTS WITH TWO: Morales drove in all seven runs in his effort on 8/31 at BAL with two out, becoming just the 2 nd Blue Jay hitter with seven two-out RBI in a game The other was John Mayberry who also did it against the Orioles in 1978 The accomplishment has only happened twice in the Majors over the last 8 seasons The other player to do so was Hunter Renfroe on 9/27/16 vs. LAD.
