The Rockies trail Los Angeles-NL by 1.5 games for first place in the NL West, and are 1.5 games behind St. Louis for the second Wild Card. TAURUS The 2.66 ERA (67.2 IP, 20 ER) by the bullpen this month ranks third in the National League, third in the Majors. HOOOOWL In 12 starts since his July 14 recall from Triple-A Albuquerque, is 4-1 with a 4.16 ERA (71.1 IP, 33 ER), 20 walks and 56 strikeouts has pitched seven or more innings in five of those 12 starts, including at least 7.1 frames three times prior to the recall, had only pitched 7.1 innings or more twice in his career.
