STATE OF THE SOX: Yesterday s win snapped a 3-game losing streak, which followed 3 straight wins...the Sox have taken 6 of their last 11, 7 of their last 13, and 8 of their last 15 contests beginning on 6/8. The Sox are in 4th place in the AL East, 6.5 games back in the division, and are 5.0 games back in the race for the AL s 2nd Wild Card playoff berth.
