The Snappers have a solid 6-3 record in home day games while going 2-3 in day games on the road. Two of those road day games ended in 1-0 scores as last night s contest did. In the Snappers last road day game, they better Lake County 9-1 & got a quality start out of Brendan Butler. Beloit routed Peoria 12-0 in a Saturday day game at Pohlman Field last month in the only day game of the 2017 series between these squads. SERIES NOTES: The Snappers have not been beaten in a 4-game series in They split their season-opening home-and-home series with Cedar Rapids while they split a pair of home series with Burlington & Kane County. Beloit has not lost a road series in a month, dating back to April at Kane County that featured 2 extra-inning games. ROAD WEARY: The Snappers have had some troubles offensively in the First Half when playing on the road. After just 1 hit on Saturday night, Beloit is batting.228 as a team on the road.
