Request and pay for youth tournaments on USACC & TournamentUSA Web pages Materials USA rulebook (1 per league team, 1 per travel team) Regional Handbook (found on usasoftballregion10.com ) ASA Balls & Strikes (available online) YOUTH REGISTRATION FEES ACE Level 1 is $25 and Levels 2, 3 & 4 are $20. ACE may be done online through RegisterUSASoftball.com once coach registration is completed. All coaches & board members will be required to have Safe Sports certification. There is no fee for this certifications. Liability Field Owner (additional named insured) Insurance. Pre-Purchase of initial accident/liability insurance by USACC in January of each year for youth leagues and travel teams covering signups, tryouts and practices. Note: Leagues presidents and travel coaches must confirm with the USACC office NLT December 30th of each year, that they will be active in USA the next year, before the Assoc. will purchase the initial insurance in their behalf. There will be no backdated coverage after the fact!!! Score Book (1 per team league team, 1 per travel team) Scorekeeper materials (upon request)
4 DIRECTORS FEES FOR ALL TOURNAMENTS The fees apply for events listed in the headings below. Tournament Directors are responsible to pay the cost to the individuals assigned to their tournament by this office. The UIC will be a member of the tournament protest committee and will not work any games unless to replace a sick or injured umpire. If an Assoc USA Representative is assigned, that member will also be on the protest Committee. The UIC is responsible to collect all Association fees due from the tournament Director the afternoon of the first day of the tournament. Fees and complete bracket sheets are to be made available to the UIC Sunday before the event is over. Tournament UIC will complete umpire evaluations and include them in the tournament packet given to the Association Office. A copy of the evaluations will also be given to the Association UIC. If there is a second or more sites, an Assistant UIC and/or a Working UIC may be assigned by the Tournament UIC. All Pacific Coast Region and Assoc. Championship play, three (3) umpires should be used on the final day of the tournament for semi-finals, Championship and if games. A USA Softball Representative may be assigned by this office to those events that the association feels necessary to ensure the quality of the event is at the standards expected by USACC. Tournament USA Fee $10.00 Per Team SANCTION TRAVEL LEAGUE PRACTICE GAMES, NO AWARDS - PLAY DAY Sanctioning Fee $30.00 Per Team Fee $10.00 Non-USA Team Fee $25.00 Per Team (Non-USA teams will be assessed a one time Registration/Background fee of $80.00 for the first three staff members, and an additional fee of $30.00 per staff member thereafter.) DEFINITION OF A PLAYDAY Playdays are practice games that must be sanctioned and are limited to 10 total teams (4 total B or C teams May 15 July 15). Umpires must be assigned by USACC Assignor. The event must play a Round Robin type schedule. There can be no elimination games, no standings and no awards given. PCR Sanction Fee $25.00 Based on 8 teams or less $50.00 Based on 9-15 teams $ Based on 16 or more teams Two Umpires will be used in all age groups at the above events. Championship Play events are required to have three umpires the last three games which includes the if game.
