SOLAK ATTACK: After experiencing an 0-for-12 skid in the series vs. Palm Beach, Nick Solak enjoyed a career-night on Saturday with his first-career multi-hr game and a career-high 6RB. The 22-year-old is all over the Florida State League Leader board: 3rd in total bases (156), T-3rd in runs scored (56), 4th in walks (50), T-4th in hits (102), T-4th in on-base percentage (.393), and 7th in batting average (.300). LYNCH LONG-BALL: Tim Lynch homered two more times on Friday, giving him eight blasts in his last 16 games. The 24-year-old is currently batting.364 (12-for-33) with five home runs over an eight-game hitting streak. KATOH STAYS HOT: In his last 11 games, Gosuke Katoh has logged seven multi-hit games. The 22-year-old is batting.419 (18-for-43) with 7R and 8RBI in that span, raising is batting average by 32 points (.262 to.295). HOT STRETCH: The Yankees have now won 11-straight and 16 of their last 17 games, moving into first-place in the second-half FSL Florida State League North standings. Tampa now owns the best overall record in the FSL at (.600). BELL NAMED AFL MANAGER: On Wednesday, the Arizona Fall League announced managerial assignments for the upcoming 2017 season and T-Yanks Manager Jay Bell has been named the manager of the Scottsdale Scorpions. The season begins on Tuesday, October 10th. The Scottsdale team will include prospects from the Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Angels, New York Mets, New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants. VS. DAYTONA: Tonight will be the 11th of 13 games in the season-series between the Tampa Yankees and Daytona Tortugas. The series is currently tied, 5-5.
