Donny Sands, Devyn Bolasky and Alex Palma began the frame with three-straight doubles. Later, singles by Angel Aguilar, Kyle Holder, Trey Amburgey, Sands and Bolasky led to five more runs. While seven runs in one inning ties a season-high for Tampa, eight hits in a single frame is a new season-high for the T-Yanks. TOP PITCHING STAFF: Tampa currently leads the Floirda State League with a team-era of 2.86 (343ER/1080.2IP). Among all fullseason teams in MiLB, that mark ranks second only to Single-A West Michigan (2.79 ERA). The Yankees also lead the FSL with 15 shutouts and 1,092 strikeouts. Tampa is on pace to break the all-time FSL record for strikeouts by a single pitching staff, set by the Charlotte Stone Crabs in 2010 with 1,189K in 139 games. HOME SWEET HOME: Tampa has now won 16-straight games played at George M. Steinbrenner Field, going back to 7/13 vs. Dunedin. The Yankees are also a perfect 6-0 when playing extra-innings at home.
