AMAZING ADAM: Adam Jones is the sixth player in team history with 50-or-more extra-base hits in at least four straight seasons, joining Cal Ripken, Jr. (six, ), Rafael Palmeiro (five, ), Nick Markakis (four, ), B.J. Surhoff (four, ), and Eddie Murray (four, and ) (STATS) With his next home run, Jones will become the first outfielder in O s history with four straight seasons of 25 or more home runs Frank Robinson holds the club record for outfielders with five different seasons of 25+ HR, but never did it in four straight seasons ( , 69-71). PEARCING: Steve Pearce has hit safely in a career-high 10 straight games since August 17 (previous high: eight games, August 5-12, 2012) He is batting.341/.372/.756 (14-41) during the 10-game stretch with nine extra-base hits (five doubles and four home runs), nine runs scored, and five RBI. PIGGYBACKING: On August 25, the Orioles launched five HR, going back-to-back and back-to-back-to-back for the first time in club history (Elias) The last time the O s hit back-to-back home runs twice in the same game was May 27, 2008 vs. New York (Kevin Millar/Ramon Hernandez and Luke Scott/Millar) The last team to hit back-to-back-to-back and back-to-back homers in the same game was Toronto on June 19, 2012 at Milwaukee.
