Last night s 10-inning defeat was the Indians 15th extra-inning contest of the season... Only Norfolk (18) has played more extra baseball than the Tribe this season... Despite a 4-7 record Irwin was fantastic in his time in Double-A this season, posting a stellar 2.93 EA (34 E in IP) while striking out 83 and walking just 17 over 18 appearances (16 starts)... Irwin also put together an unbelievable streak of three straight complete games from July 15 to July 27, during which he allowed just two earned runs over 22.0 innings pitched... Also added back to the Indians roster today was LP Jeff Locke... Locke returns to the Tribe after tossing 4.1 scoreless innings over two appearances out of the Pittsburgh bullpen...
