Matt Krook is slated to make the start on the mound for the Giants tonight. Three Wins In A Row The Giants enter this evening s contest having won three games in a row. San Jose suffered a 4-3, 16-inning loss to Inland Empire in their season opener last Thursday before posting three straight victories over the 66ers the last three days 10-3 on Friday, 7-4 on Saturday and 15-4 yesterday. At The Plate The Giants have scored 32 runs over their last three games (10.7 per game). San Jose s 15 runs scored yesterday is the highest single-game total by any team in the California League to date. The Giants are leading the league in runs scored (8.8 per game). LAST GAME April R H E San Jose Inland Emp WP: Connolly (1-0) LP: Pena (0-1) S: None The Giants pounded out 16 hits and scored in seven different innings en route to a 15-4 thrashing of the Inland Empire 66ers on Sunday afternoon at San Manuel Stadium. San Jose built a 13-0 lead after 5 1/2 innings and cruised to their third straight victory. With the win, the Giants claimed three out of four games from the Sixers in the season-opening series. Aramis Garcia (3-for-6, HR, 2 RBI), Ryan Howard (2-for-5, HR, RBI) and Jonah Arenado (2-for-5, 2B, HR, 3 RBI) each homered for San Jose. Dillon Dobson (2-for-4, 2B, 4 RBI) drove in four runs while Michael Bernal (3-for-5, RBI) added three hits. The Giants finished the game with eight extra-base hits (3 2B, 2 3B, 3 HR).
