KC HAS A BLAST IN THE SIXTH--In an 8-pitch span in the sixth inning last night, the Royals turned a 2-0 deficit into a 4-2 advantage thanks to home runs from Salvador Perez (#19), Mike Moustakas (#27, then later #28) and Brandon Moss (#12)...the Perez and Moustakas homers came consecutively, with each hitting 0-1 pitches out of the yard for the seventh set of back-to-back home runs this year, first since the same duo did it in Detroit on June 28 off of Daniel Norris...after Alcides Escobar groundout, Moss joined the fun by clubbing a 1-0 delivery into the water spectacular in rightfield, giving KC its second 3-homer inning of the year, the other occurring on June 10 in San Diego when Eric Hosmer and Perez went deep in the eighth inning, then were joined much later in the inning with a Lorenzo Cain grand slam.
