Following the late afternoon start today, the Boys in Blue will fly to Denver for a three-game weekend series at Coors Field against the Rockies, beginning Friday night. After an off day Monday in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles has a three-game series with the Pirates next week, beginning Tuesday night at PNC Park. The Dodgers took four of seven games from the Phillies in 2017 and swept Philadelphia in a three-game matchup last year at Dodger Stadium. Since the start of the 2015 campaign, the Dodgers have won 10 of 13 games against the Fightins at Chavez Ravine. The Dodgers have gone 9-6 against NL East opponents this season, including winning six of their last seven games. THE STARS TAKE WASHINGTON: Tomorrow, Major League Baseball will mark the official start of All-Star Balloting at 9:00 a.m. PT for the 2018 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard, which will be held on Tuesday, July 17 th at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. For the fourth consecutive season, MLB s All-Star Balloting Program will be conducted exclusively online and via mobile devices at MLB.com, all 30 Club web sites and the MLB At Bat and MLB Ballpark mobile apps. SIGHT FOR SORE EYES: Prior to the game, the Dodgers reinstated seven-time All-Star hurler Clayton Kershaw, who will make his eighth start of the season today. Kershaw was placed on the 10-day disabled list May 6 and missed the last 21 games with left bicep tendonitis. On the season, the three-time Cy Young award winner is 1-4 with a 2.86 ERA (14 ER/44.0 IP) while striking out 48 against just 10 walks. The Dodgers went with Kershaw sidelined. In 12 career starts against Philadelphia, Kershaw has gone 3-5 with a 3.16 ERA (27 ER/77.0 IP) and has held hitters to a.215 average, while striking out 86 against just 21 walks.
