Change in captains at end of season from Eric Benoit and Caleb Goodie to DJ Griffin and Alex Gellert (May 2018) Fall Record (NCBA Conference & Non-Conference Games Only): 1-0 in non conference play A stunning 12-0 win on 9/15/18 against Hobart College at McDonough Park in Geneva,NY. This was the first game in charge for the new captains and was the first win for the team in over a year. Great pitching performances were put in by Freshmen Sam Evans and Tyler Kaplan each pitching 3 shutout innings, while Freshmen Owen Halinan and Matt Marcus provided the offense having 3 and 4 RBIs repectively. Number of Returning Players (Include conference/league award winners): 16 returning players Players to Watch: This spring Sophomore catcher and captain DJ Griffin looks to lead a young pitching staff into a new division and hopefully playoff contention. This new pitching staff consists of Freshmen starters Sam Evans, Tyler Kaplan and Matt Marcus along with returning relievers Sophmore Will Deteso and Junior Alex Olsen as the team looks to build around this formitable staff. Senior infielder Eric Benoit and Senior outfielder Sam Timothy look to carry the offensive load with Freshman center fielder Owen Halinan providing a big bat in the middle of the lineup.the team looks to find great success on the basepaths with Sophomore speedster Keontre Hughes returning to hopefully lead the team in steals once again. New additions: Juniors Zach Tenner and Alex Olsen returning from fall semesters abroad to support the Raiders push to the playoffs.

2 Biggest Rival: Cornell University and Ithaca College Best Player Nickname: Alex "Dobby the Elf" Gellert Season Outlook: The Colgate Raiders have a young team this season with a number of key returning players looking to provide leadership to this young team. The Raiders have a young and formitable pitching staff that looks to be highlighted by strong freshman preformance this season. With 4 new Freshman infielders the team looks to have a fresh look on the infield. The team in focused on solid defense and preventing errors to give young pitchers confidence that the infield has their back. The Raiders are determined to produce many quality at bats that will let their prowess on the basepaths take over. Colgate has a number of very fast contact hitters that look to play smallball and run all over their opponents. This team looks to be in formitable contention for a playoff spot for years to come as the underclassman core continues to develop. The team showed great promise against Hobart and despite playing few games this fall we hope to carry the momentum of that big win into spring play. We know the large amount of away games will not be easy for us but we hope to prove ourselves as major playoff contenders not only this year but for years to come."

Austin Reed is a sophmore outfielder that was injured in the first game of the fall but will be back and should produce at the top of the order with speed and power. Dylan Lomas should bounce back as a power threat in the lineup behind Porter and be an anchor at the backend of Millersville's bullpen.
