Chicago s staggering +70 run differential (110-40) in 16 road games this season would still lead all major league teams overall this season. The Cubs have averaged 6.07 runs per game thus far, the highest in all of baseball St. Louis is second, having averaged 5.59 runs per contest. NO SUCH STREAKS: Chicago has yet to lose consecutive games this season according to Elias, it s the deepest the Cubs have gone in a season without losing consecutive games since 1907 that team did not suffer consecutive setbacks until its 34th and 35th games of the season, May The last club to avoid losing consecutive games longer than the Cubs to begin a season was the 1999 Atlanta Braves, who first suffered consecutive losses in the 30th and 31st games of that season thanks to STATS Inc.
