2 1 The mening In former times the utility dog hd n importnt function being herding dog nd Schutzhund. His selection ws therefore bsed on his performce nd helth. Tody this selection is incresingly done in sports. This is in ccordnce with legl regultions, but deling with dogs demnds requirements tht tke into ccount the responsibilty mn hs for nimls being fellow cretures becuse no one is llowed to cuse pin in n niml, suffering or hrm without sensible resons. ( 1 of Germn niml protection lw of 1998). 1. Pedigree (if issued), vccintion boooklet nd scorecrd re to be hnded over to the TS. 1. Bitches in het hve to be llowed to prticipte, but must be kept seprtely from the other prticipting dogs. In prt A they re presented ccording to the time tble, in ll other prts they re judged t the end of the event.. Sick nimls nd dogs tht re suspicious to be infectious re excluded from ll trils. 16. The tril mnger hs the right of discipline, he is responsible for securing order nd sfety in the event property. He is not necessrily lso the TS. 2 Generl Regultions 1. Tri re events pproved by RSV nd/or ffilited ssocitions 2. The implementtion must bei published nd vilble. Tri must obey the rules of these TR.. They re equl to IPO exms. Tril dys re Sturdy, Sundy nd bnk holydys, if there re mny registrtions the tril cn be held on other week dys s well. 6. Tri strts with the opening by the TS 7. Only one tril level cn be chieved in one Tri, except n RSVBH, in this cse it is possible in 2-dy-tril to perform n RSVBH on the first nd n RSVFH, RSVSchH tril the second dy. 8. A DH my enter up to two dogs into one Tri. 9. The minimum number of prticipnts is DH.. A judge cn judge 6 prts per dy: RSVBH obedience trffic prt RSVSchH prt A = trcking prt B = obedience (UO) prt C = protection (SchD) RSVFH 1-2 RSVFPr 1 - RSVUPr 1- RSVSPr 1 - Weighting nd minimum ge: Tril Number of Single Prts Minimum Age RSVBH 2 RSVSchH1 18 RSVSchH2 19 RSVSchH 20 RSVFH1 18 RSVFH2 18 RSVFH 20 RSVFPr, RSVUPr, RSVSPr 1 depending on level The trcking prts (RSVFPr1-), obedience prts (RSVUPr1-), nd protection prts (RSVSPr1-) of Tri cn be judged by themselves, without title being wrded - they count one prt ech. 11. The tril results must be documented in scorecrd, tht ech DH must buy t his orgniztion. The DH must ensure tht the dog is vccinted nd insured for the cse tht ny dmge is cused by the dog. The Tril Mnger (TM) 1. The TM orgnizes nd supervizes the Tri, during the Tri he is t service for the J nd therefore is not llowed to prticipte in the Tri himself. 2. His duties re especilly: providing ll licenses necessry for the event providing ppropite trcking ground for ll tril levels seeking permission to use the trcking ground pplying for the RSV2000 pprovl to hold the tril t tht dte supplying written documents like judging sheets nd scorecrds for ll tril levels keeping redy scorecrds, pedigrees, vccintion booklets nd, if necessry, insurnce proof submitting the tril pprovl to the J before begin of the Tri informing the J three dys before the Tri the ltest bout plce, strting time, driving directions, Tri type nd number of competing dogs. In cse the TM misses the J hs the right to bck out of his duties providing competent ssistnce like helpers in protection, trck lyers, group of people for obedience, etc. providing the necessry pproprite equipment, lso microchip reder nd secure helper s clothes The Judge (J) 1. The judge evlutes the performnce of the dog-dh-tem, fills in the judging sheets nd verifies the chieved results by signing the result list. 2. The J promptly trnsfers his judging into the RSV2000 dtbse.. The J is responsible for the complince nd correct use of these TR.. The judges decision is finl nd incontestble. Any criticism of the judgment cn drw sending wy from the event grounds nd possibly disciplinry ction. In justified cses, which do not relte to fctul decisions but on rule violtions of the J, complint is possible within eight dys. This complint is in writing, bering the signture of the pplicnt nd t lest one witness, it is sent to the LAZ vi the TM. The cceptnce of complint includes no right to revise the ssessment of the J. The decision on complint is met by the LAZ in consulttion with the bord.. The J my neither disturb nor influence the dog s performnce. 6. Trining supports re not llowed to be crried with the exception of lesh nd norml collr, nti-prsite collrs re permitted.. Collrs re not llowed to be used in pull mode.. Legl requirements such s muzzle in public shll be complied with, in so fr devitions in the RSVBH re possible. 6 Disqulifiction nd Brek off 1. The reson for the disqulifiction of the DH is to be written down in the result list nd in the scorecrd. 2. In cse of disqulifiction no points/rtings re wrded, ll points chived to tht point re deleted.. In cse dog is tken out of the tril by the J becuse of deficiency in obedience, this is disqulifiction.. In cse of brek off the points chieved in finished disciplines up to tht point re documented in the broken off discipline nd in totl points only brek off is documented 7 The Commnds (CM) 1. Commnds given in these tril rules re exmples, DH my use their choice of lnguge or individul commnds. 2. All commnds re single words, with mximum of two syllbles.. The PO differentites: some exercises re to be performed by voice commnd only, without body lnguge some exercises re to be performed by body lnguge only, but without voice commnd in some exercises both is permitted Flse use is fulty. 8 The Imprtility Test 1. Before strt of trcking / t the beginning of the Tri / ech dog hs to pss n imprility test performed by the J: Control of ttoo number/chip ccording to the pedigree or vccintion booklet, the dog does not hve to tolerte to be touched by strnger behvior in socil environment, everybody hs to refrin from triggering the dog 2. The judge observes the mentl chrcteristics during the whole process of the tril. Unsure, esy to scre, nervous, gun shy nd dogs biting becuse of fer re to be tken out of the tril becuse of deficient imprtility.. The result of the imprtiity test is noted in the judging sheets. 9 The Tril Levels 1. The degree of difficulty inceses with ech higher level. 2. The tril levels must be pssed one fter nother: RSVBH (optionl) - RSVSchH All Tri cn be repeted s often s wnted nd in ny order.. The J judges the individul performnce prmeters lwys in the sme mnner.. The finl results / rtings of the individul exercises differ depending on the level of the event nd therefore the number of points the finl result of discipline. regionl level the rting is the result of the highest evluted performnce prmeter fter equilibrtion ntionl/interntionl level - the rting is the result of the lowest evluted performnce prmeter fter equilibrtion The Performnce Prmeters 1. The performnce prmeters for the rting criteri of the presented performnce re: drive techniques coordintion 2. Drive nd techniques re in n ntgonistic reltionship, becuse technicl exercises of the TR sk from the dog behvior, tht he is nturlly ble to perform, but they re not his originl drive trget. This cn only be shown in n optiml mnner if optiml communiction/coordintion is chieved.. Trget is to induce the dog to focus ll of his performnce cpcity on the processing of the technicl exercises nd ct in perfect tuning with the DH due to n implementtion of n intelligent trining, tht is dpted to the niml s need nd considers cynologicl nd ethologicl principles s well s the lerning rules.. The performnce cpcity of dog is determined by his drive intensity, strength of nerves, fitess, physiologicl conditions, intelligence nd qulity of trining. 11 Equilibrtion of Performmce Prmeters 1. If one performnce prmeter is insufficient, the result of tht exercise is first evluted by deducting points nd then in rting. 12 The Judging Sheets 1. Attchment 1 shows the judging sheets for the different tril levels with ll relevnt rting criteris. 2. The performnce in tril is the result of long trining process with correspondent steps in development stges.. The development stges re tken into ccount by:. the different tril levels. the equilibrtion of rting grdes of performnce prmeters depending on the tril level 6. mngement of the judging sheets The J mrks down the performnce prmeters drive, techniques nd coordintion of ech exercise. In cse he does not mrk down nything the exercise is evluted in the highest excellent.. The J rtes the performnce prmeters drive, techniques nd coordintion of ech exercise, he equilibrtes the rtings nd wrds then the rting for the exercise. The points for the exercise derive from its rting. The totl points of of discipline derive from the ddition of ll points of the individul exercises. The result in points of the tril derives from the ddition of the points of the individul disciplines. From this the rting of the tril derives. 1 Rtings / Points / Results 1. In cse of the sme totl score the score of the protection determines service bout the plcement, then the obedience. 6. For pssing one discipline 70 points re necessry. 7. A tril is pssed if ll disciplines re pssed. Trcking 1 Procedures The DH presents himself to the J in bsic, he sys his nme, the nme of his dog nd informs if the dog picks up or indictes. He goes with his dog to the strting point nd gives the dog the CD Such to strt trcking. He lets the lesh roll out for m nd then follows his dog in this distnce. This is the sme if the dogs is trcking wthout lesh. At the rticles the DH lets the lesh fll on the ground nd wlks up beside his dog, tkes the rticle, shows it to the J nd then strts gin t this point. After the lst rticle the DH goes with his dog to the J nd reports in bsic the found rticles nd the end of the trck. 1. The strts nd ends in bsic. 2. J nd trck lyer ccompny the trcking dog outside the trcking re ( m lesh) without disturbing the dog... Trcks my be lid on ll nturl grounds.. Trcks shll be dpted to the ground, chnging the type of ground is permitted.. The J nd in lrger trils the trcking mnger re responsible for: dividing the trck pth instructing the trck lyers supervising the lying of the trcks 6. The strting point is mrked by post on the left. 7. The order of the strters is drwn fter lying the trcks. 8. The trck is to be broken off fter three unsuccesful ttempts t the strting point. 9. The dog my be led with m serching lesh on the collr, trcking hrness or free without lesh.. A hnging lesh is not fulty, even if it touches the ground. 11. The distnce of meters between DH nd dog on the legs must be respected even if the dog is serching freely. 12. The DH must not necessrily be behind the dog. 1. If the dog is disturbed on the trck by wild gme, the DH my put the dog to down by himself until this triggering sitution is over nd strt new. There is no deduction of points. 1. The length of one leg is 0 steps minimum. The Lying Ground violtions re lid ccording to the following schemes: (see pge 7) 16 The Articles 1. The J sends the strter with the higher strting number for go to the long down, the other DH goes to the strting point.. After both DH finished their presenttion, they finish thier obedience by reporting to the J in bsic. After tht the dog is put on lesh.. The exercised of ech tril level re presented in order of the following tble:. At exercise 8 the J tells the DH of the dog in long down to fetch his dog nd then go to plce in height of the strting point. The chnge from sttics to dynmics is considered in the evlution of drive the chnge from dynmics to sttics is considered in the evlution of techniques nd coordintion.. Between exercises opening / prising the dog is permiitted, without plying with the dog.. Subevlution in the jumping exercises: A subevlution of n exercise is only possible, if t lest one jump nd the retrieving of the the three prts (outjump-pickup-return jump) is presented. Jumps nd retrieve flwless = points Out- nd return jump not presented, but dumbbell retrieved flwlessly = points Out- nd return jump flwless, Dumbbell not retrieved = 0 points 2 Equipment 1. The pistol tht is used for the exercises free heeling nd long down under distrction hs cliber of 6 mm. 2. Only the dumbbells provided by the hosting clubs re llowed for the tril.. 6 The scling wll is180 cm high nd 0 cm wide. The distnce of the wlls on the ground is 10 cm. The scling wll be completely covered with n nti-skid surfce. climbing brs (2/8 mm) re to be fixed in the upper hlves of the wlls. 2 Exercises 1 Heeling with lesh CM: Fuß 1. In RSVBH heeling with lesh is presented nlogue to free heeling, but there is no shooting on the first stright leg. 2. After the group in RSVBH the dog is led to bsic, the lesh is tken off nd the complete exercise is once more presented in free heeling. This strts with free heeling through the group. 2 Free CM: Fuß heeling 1. The dog is presented ccording to the following scheme: 2. The dog sits stright in bsic t the left side of the DH on hight of his knee.. The free heeling strts with the CM Fuß.. The DH is only llowed to use the CM Fuß wenn strting to wlk nd when chnging pce.. In the beginning the DH wlks stright hed with his dog for 0 steps. Two shots (cliber 6 mm) re to be fired within seconds in distnce of minimum steps while he is wlking. At the shooting the dog hs to show n indifferent behvior. 6. At the end there is u-turn tht cn be shown left or right. 7. After nother to steps the DH must present the running pce nd the slow pce with minimum of steps. The different pces need to differ distinctly. 8. The trnsition from fst pce to slow pce must be executed without intermedite steps. 9. After the slow pce the DH chnges to norml pce.. After tht two right corners, u-turn, stop nd left corner must be presented. 11. At the end of the exrcise the DH goes into group of t lest four moving persons. The dog hndler must once go right nd once left round person t show t lest one stop in the group. It is up to the J to sk for repitition. 12. On JC the DH leves the group nd stnds in bsic. Sit out of bsic CD: Fuß, Sitz 1. Strting from bsic the DH goes stright hed with his free heeling dog. 2. After to steps the DH stops in bsic, gives the CD Sitz nd removes himself for nother steps. He immeditely turns round to his dog. The J instructs the DH to return to his dog nd goes into bsic on the right side of his dog. b Sit out of motion CD: Fuß, Sitz 1. Strting from bsic the DH goes stright hed with his free heeling dog. 2. After to steps the dog must immeditely nd in wlking direction sit down on the CD Sitz without the DH interrupting or chnging his wlking nd without turning round to the dog.. After more steps the DH stops nd turns immeditely towrds his dog.. The J instructs the DH to return to his dog nd go to bsic t the right side of his dog. Down with recll out of bsic CD: Fuß, Pltz, Hier, Fuß 1. Strting from bsic the DH goes stright hed with his free heeling dog. 2. After to steps the DH stops in bsic postion, gives the CD Pltz nd wlks on for nother 0 steps. He immeditely turns towrds his dog nd stnds still.. The J instructs the DH to cll his dog. The dog must pproch the DH joyful nd in fst moving nd to sit in front of him stright nd closely.. On the CD Fuß the dog must chnge fst into bsic postion. b Down with recll out of norml pce CD: Fuß, Pltz, Hier, Fuß motion 1. Strting from bsic the DH goes stright hed with his free heeling dog. 2. After to steps the dog must ly down t once nd in moving direction when given the CD Pltz without the DH interrupting or ltering his movements or looking bck.. The DH runs strightly nother 0 steps, stops nd turns immeditely to his dog stnding clmly nd ttentively.. The J instructs the DH to cll his dog. The dog must pproch the DH joyful nd in fst moving nd to sit in front of him stright nd closely. 6. On the CD Fuß the dog must chnge fst into bsic postion. 6 Retrieve on flt CD: Bring, Aus, Fuß 1. In stright bsic the DH throws dumbbell. The CD Bring my only be given fter the dumbbell lies clmly. 2. No chnge of the bsic is permitted. A step forwrd with one leg for throwing is llowed.. After sitting clm nd free beside the DH the dog must on CD Bring run quickly to the dumbbell, pick it up nd retrieve it directly to the DH.. The dog must sit close nd stright in front of the DH nd present the dumbbell clmly in the mouth until the DH tles it fter puse of pp. sec. with the CD Aus.. The dumbbell hs then to be kept with the rm stright nd clmly held down on the right side of the body. 6. On the CD Fuß the dog must chnge fst into bsic postion. 7 Bring ov er 1 m hurdle CD: Hopp, Bring, Aus, Fuß Out-jump points Division of points Bringing points Return jump points 1.
