Following a 13-6 Nuts victory in the series opener on Thursday, the Giants have staged dramatic ninth-inning rallies the last two nights to secure back-to-back wins. On Friday, San Jose scored five runs in the bottom of the ninth for a 9-8 win. Yesterday, the Giants scored twice in the ninth in a come-from-behind 6-5 victory. Walk-Offs San Jose s last four home victories have come in walk-off fashion: April 14 vs. Stockton (Jalen Miller 11th inning home run), April 15 vs. Stockton (Gio Brusa 10th inning home run), April 20 vs. Modesto (Bryce Johnson ninth inning hit by pitch) and last night (Jacob Heyward ninth inning double). The Giants trailed entering the bottom of the ninth inning in all four games. Miller (5-for-7, 2B, 3B, HR, 4 RBI, SB), who tied a Giants single-game team record with five hits, tripled in the ninth inning for San Jose s second cycle of the night. The duo became the fourth and fifth players in the 31-year history of the San Jose Giants to hit for the cycle. Prior to Brusa and Miller, the last SJ Giant to hit for the cycle was Thomas Neal on April 28, 2009 at Lancaster.
