El Paso defeats Las Vegas 10-1 in series finale: The Chihuahuas defeated the 51s 10-1 last night in the finale of the four-game series before a Budweiser Dollar Beer Night crowd of 5,399 at Cashman Field. Las Vegas offense: The 51 s recorded 5 hits and scored their lone run in the fourth inning on a home run by center fielder Brandon Nimmo (1-for-2, two walks). Right fielder Travis Taijeron was 2-for-3, walk and shortstop Matt Reynolds was 1-for-3, walk, double. El Paso offense: The Chihuahuas recorded 10 hits and built a 7-1 lead after 5 ½ innings.
