The Timberjacks played in the Pioneer League from , 1958 Washington Senators Jack McKeon finishing second in the league in The Jacks played as an independent in Washington Senators Ralph Rowe before beginning a three-season run as an affiliate of the Washington Senators. The 1960 Cincinnati Reds Joe Tedesco Cincinnati Reds were the parent club of the Timberjacks in their final season, The Timberjacks best season was in 1958, when they finished second in the Pioneer League, thanks in part to the pitching of Jim Kaat, who would eventually break into the majors with the Senators. He would be the last of the Senators who moved with the team to Minnesota to retire, and also enjoyed a long career as a broadcaster. 25
