2 TODD FRAZIER 21 THIRD BASEMAN 2016 SEASON American League Leaders: 6th-HR (40). Was named the winner of the Heart and Hustle Award, presented by the MLB Players Alumni Association to honor the active player who demonstrates a passion for the game and best embodies the values, spirit, and tradition of the game became the first White Sox player to win the award. Set career highs with 40 home runs, 98 RBI, 89 runs scored and 64 walks in his first season with the Sox joined Jim Thome (42 in 2006) as the only players to hit 40-plus home runs in their first season with the club. Became the seventh player (12th time) in Sox history to hit 40 home runs, the first to record 40 homers and 15 stolen bases in a season and the first since Jorge Orta in 1976 to lead the club in home runs and steals (STATS). 4 2013 SEASON Hit 19 home runs for the second consecutive season homered six times in April and September. He and Zack Cozart each hit two home runs on 4/5 vs. Washington, becoming the first shortstop/third base tandem in Reds history to accomplish the feat and the first in the NL since Pittsburgh's Jackie Hernandez and Richie Hebner in Became the first Reds batter to homer in a 1-0 win since Sean Casey on 8/26/04 vs St. Louis when he accomplished the feat on 4/24 vs. the Cubs (off Jeff Samardzija). Compiled a career-high 42-game errorless streak from 4/23-6/13, recorded a career-best five straight multihit games from 6/1-5 and endured a career-long 0-31 stretch from 7/26-8/7. Hit five doubles on 7/22-24 at San Francisco, the most ever by an opposing player in a three-game series at AT&T Park. During his first season with the White Sox, participated in an ACE experience during Sox Serve Week, hosted a hitting clinic for youth players, visited children at Lurie Children's Hospital, made an appearance at a Local Sam's Club and participated in BP for a Cause to benefit the Team Carone Foundation. In 2013, he designated the Baseball United Foundation s Grand Slam for Sandy fundraising effort as the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the Major League Baseball Players Trust the donation was part of a $20,000 charitable contribution he received for being named the 2012 National League Outstanding Rookie in Players Choice Awards balloting. At Redsfest 2008, beat 560 players to win the Reds Community Fund Celebrity Poker Tournament and donated the first-place $10,000 prize to the Reds Community Fund. Holds one-day baseball camps for youth players (ages 7-16) with Frazier Baseball and the United States Amateur Baseball League throughout the offseason. MISCELLANEOUS/PERSONAL Married Jacquelyn has two children: Blake and Kylie Served as an analyst for MLB Network s postseason coverage following the 2013 and 2015 seasons following the 2014 season, worked as an analyst for TBS postseason coverage. Played baseball at Rutgers University was the pre and postseason Big East Player of the Year in 2007 and was rated the top professional prospect in the Northern Region tied for fourth in the NCAA in 2007 with 22 home runs. Graduated in 2004 from Toms River (N.J.) South High School played baseball and was a four-year starter on the basketball team set a school record with 27 rebounds in a game. Was a member of the Toms River team that won the 1998 Little League World Series championship went 4-4 with a home run in the championship game vs Japan and also recorded the last out as a pitcher.
