FROM THE TRAINING ROOM l Following are updates on the six Chicago players on the DL: u RHP Nate Jones (right elbow neuritis) was placed on the DL yesterday... a MRI confirmed the diagnosis. u RHP Jake Petricka (strained right lat) is currently rehabbing in Arizona after being placed on the DL on 4/6. u RHP Zach Putnam (right elbow inflammation) was placed on the disabled list on 4/25 (retro to 4/23). u LHP Carlos Rodon (bursitis in left biceps), who was transferred to the 60-day DL yesterday, is in Glendale, Arizona to continue his throwing program. u RHP James Shields (right lat strain) was placed on the DL for the first time on 4/21 (retro to 4/18)... his throwing program has been scaled back due to a slow recovery process. u OF Charlie Tilson (stress reaction in right foot) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list on Saturday.
