FUN-FILLED WEEKEND The Rays will honor Kevin Kiermaier s 2015 Platinum Glove Award this weekend with a pair of premium promotional items on Saturday, all fans will receive a special Kevin Kiermaier Platinum Glove Bobblehead presented by DEX Imaging that day, Kiermaier will receive his Rawlings Platinum Glove Award, which recognizes the best overall defensive player in the American League, from Rawlings officials prior to the game on Sunday, all kids 14 and under will receive a Kevin Kiermaier Glove presented by the Florida Division of Emergency Management all Rays promotional items are available while supplies last. RAY MATTER The Rays look to win their first series of the season in today s rubber match with Cleveland in last night s 4-1 loss, the Rays were held to only 1 hit through the first 7 innings and finished with 5 hits the Rays are averaging 3.0 runs per game, 24th in the majors, and have exceeded 3 runs only twice (W 5-1 on Tues vs. CLE, W 5-3 on April 6 vs. TOR) this season the Rays have led at the end of only 8 of a possible 72 innings in all 3 wins, the Rays trailed after 6 innings; in 2015, they were 9-54 (.143) when trailing after 6. The Rays have been outscored by opponents 27-9 in innings 1-through-5, but have outscored their opponents 15-4 in innings 6-through-9 10 of their 24 total runs scored have come in the 8th inning (including their only run last night).
