Lost 9 Of 11 Despite last night s victory, the Giants enter tonight s contest having lost nine out of their last 11 games. Both San Jose wins during the 11-game stretch have come against Stockton last Sunday at Banner Island Ballpark (8-7) and yesterday (10-9). John Polonius three-run homer highlighted a seven-run bottom of the sixth inning as San Jose claimed the opener of the three-game series. Brian Ragira (2-for-4, HR, 3 RBI) also smacked a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning to help lead the Giants offensively. Hunter Cole (2-for-3, 2 2B, SB), Dylan Davis (2-for-4, RBI) and Matt Pare (2-for-4, 2 RBI) added two hits apiece.
