The Orioles would have a runner cut down at home in the inning as Hartford tried to extend its lead. Braun led the offense in game one going 2-3, as Savage collected the only other hit for Hartford. Watertown was able to get on the board in the third inning by scoring two runs, as both runs starter Austin Brewer (0-1) gave up in the inning were unearned. Brewer threw five innings giving up three total runs and striking out four. Zimdars threw two innings in relief giving up one hit, one run and striking out two. April 24 - Oconomowoc 6, Hartford 4 (2-6, 2-4) At West Side Park, Oconomowoc (ranked #4 in D1 state rankings) was led by a strong pitching performance in the victory of the Orioles. Hartford's offense was led by Blake Lazaris reaching base three times, and Cody Guetzke's two RBI's. Myles Zimdars had a run-scoring triple in the seventh to bring the Orioles close, but the rally would come up just short. The Oriole struck out 12 times on the night, and accumulated only six hits on the evening. Tucker Crabtree (0-3) started for Hartford and threw 3 1/3 innings giving up five runs, while Austin Brewer pitched 3 2/3 innings of relief giving up one run on two hits. Zach Lutz (0-2) started on the mound for Hartford and threw three innings allowing three runs and George Trawitzki finished the final three innings giving up two runs. The offense was paced by Myles Zimdars' two hit and only four other Orioles were able to produce a hit. Griff Lukes two-run single brought Hartford to within one run in the sixth inning, but KML responded by scoring a run in the bottom

5 of the inning. Hartford threatened in the seventh, as Cody Guetzke singled home a run to draw the game to within one again, but the Orioles flew out with runners on first and third to end the game. April 19 - Arrowhead 12, Hartford 2 (2-4, 2-3) (6 innings) At Arrowhead, the Warhawks (ranked #7 in the D1 state rankings) belted three home runs and used a secondinning grand slam to build a five-run lead on Hartford. Nick Vogel (0-1) started for the Orioles on the mound and went 1 1/3 innings and was followed by Austin Brewer (3 2/3 innings) and Griff Lukes (2/3 innings). Hartford's offense put up six hits and induced five walks, but baserunning mistakes in the first and second innings took away a few scoring chances. Nick Vogel and Garrett Thomas collected the lone RBI's for Hartford on the night. April 18 - Catholic Memorial 3, Hartford 1 (2-3, 2-2) At Infinity Fields in Waukesha, the Crusaders (ranked #2 in D2 state rankings) scored two runs in the first inning aided by two Hartford errors, and the Orioles could not overcome the early deficit. Tucker Crabtree (0-2) threw four innings while giving up five hits and no earned runs. George Trawitzki threw the final two innings, giving up only one hit. Hartford struggled to put the ball in play against the Crusaders ace, and the Orioles struck out 11 times. The offense was able to load the bases in the first inning off of three consecutive hits, but couldn't capitalize as the next two batters struck out and grounded out, respectively. Hartford wasn't able to put another rally together until the seventh inning, when the first two batters reached on walks. After a strike out, Cody Guetzke hit a sharp ground ball to the second baseman that resulted in an error. Blake Lazaris scored on the play, but the Orioles couldn't put another run across during the comeback effort. April 11 - Arrowhead 1, Hartford 0 (2-2, 2-1) At West Side Park, a pitcher's dual went Arrowhead's (ranked #8 in D1 state rankings) way with a 7th inning run to beat the Orioles. Tucker Crabtree (0-1) pitched a gem as he threw a complete game two-hitter, allowing just one run and striking out seven. Crabtree kept the Warhawks off-balance all night and received great defense behind him. The game only featured four total hits on the cold day, as Myles Zimdars and Cody Guetzke collected those for Hartford. The Orioles did manage three walks, and had runners on first and second with one out in the first, but couldn't capitalize on the opportunity. Arrowhead scored their lone run on a squeeze bunt with one out in the seventh. April 8 - Hartford 9 (2-1, 2-0), Slinger 2 At Slinger, the Hartford offense slugged out 14 hits, including four extra base hits to overcome an early deficit. Slinger scored the first run of the game off started Garrett Thomas (1-0), but Thomas would only allow one more run over five innings of work. He only allowed two hits and struck out one batter. The offense scored in four straight innings to open up an 8-1 lead through five innings. In a four-run fifth, Scott Savage started the inning off with a double. Blake Lazaris would drive Savage in with a single, and Myles Zimdars would drive him in with a double of his own. After the next two batters were hit by pitch, Zach Braun and Nick Vogel followed with back-to-back RBI singles. Hartford would bat around in the fifth inning, and would tack on another run in the 7th, to sweep the season series over Slinger. April 6 - Hartford 8 (1-1, 1-0), Slinger 5 At West Side Park, the Orioles jumped out to a four run lead and never relinquished the early lead. Austin Brewer started on the mound and went 2 2/3 innings giving up three runs but Myles Zimdars (1-0) came in relief to receive his first victory on varsity. 6 two runs. Hartford walked five times, stole five bases and took advantage of three Slinger errors to roll to the victory. April 1 - Hortonville 4, Hartford 2 (0-1) In the season-opener, Hartford scored two runs in the bottom of the 4th inning to close the gap to two runs. The Orioles couldn't get any closer despite getting five baserunners over the final three innings. Zach Lutz (0-1) started on the mound and went two innings, giving up three runs. Austin Brewer came in and pitched four innings in relief giving up only one run while striking out three. Griff Lukes pitched a scoreless 7th.
