Teams should review carefully each Hotels Rules and Procedures so that there are no misunderstandings; (i.e.: Check In & Check-Out times, Payment Methods/Terms, Rooming Lists requirement, and Tax Exemption document requirements if applicable). HOTEL/MOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS In order to insure that schools participating in the state baseball tournament have rooms for their teams, it is imperative that the following things be done: 1) Wait until your team qualifies for the tournament before making reservations. 2) Please call the Hotel properties directly to make your Team reservations. 3) Book only the number of rooms needed for your team (PLEASE DO NOT BOOK SPECTATOR ROOMS - spectators must make their own reservations directly through a hotel). Call Sulphur Parks and Recreation at one of the above referenced telephone numbers if in need of additional assistance or information and identify yourself as a qualifying team for the State Baseball Tournament. 10 P age

13 We realize that parents and spectators need rooms as well, and we have made every effort to block as many rooms as possible so everyone will have a place to stay. Parents and spectators should make their reservations with the Hotels directly once all Teams have been accommodated. We feel there will be plenty of rooms for everyone who wishes to stay. However, if spectators begin calling and reserving rooms before their team qualifies, it will upset the system and cause a lot of unnecessary confusion and frustration. Please be patient for spectator rooms and allow teams time to secure their rooms first. It is each school s responsibility to secure their Team reservations directly through the Hotel properties. Please do not make your reservation until your team has actually qualified for the tournament. Sulphur Parks & Recreation office and personnel will be available to assist teams with additional information as needed by contacting the numbers listed on page one of the brochure. Area hotel property information can be found at: or NOTE: 1. Sulphur Parks and Recreation is providing $ to each Team to help defray Traveling Team Hotel expenses. 2.
