YESTERDAY S WIN: The Red Sox defeated the Yankees yesterday, It evened Boston s final series of the year at 1-1 entering today s season finale. Joe Kelly started and earned the win, going a careerhigh 7.1 IP...He allowed 4 runs, all in the 8th inning, but 2 scored after he left the bases loaded and 1 out. Boston jumped out to a 9-0 lead with 8 runs (4 unearned) in the 2nd inning, the club s largest output in any frame this season.
