NO PROBLEM: This season, San Diego has scored 54.8 percent of their runs with two outs this season, the highest percentage in baseball...their.336 average with RISP and 2 out is also the highest in the majors. THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF HOZ: 1B Eric Hosmer's 14 multi-hit games are the most of any player in the National League...he's tied with BAL's Manny Machado and OAK's Jed Lowrie for the most in the majors. INHERITABLY DOMINANT The Padres bullpen has inherited 42 runners this season, allowing just nine of them to score...their 21.4 IR scoring percentage is the lowest mark in the National League and the second-lowest in the majors, behind the LAA's 17.9 IRS percent. A WHOLE QUADRAGENARIAN AGO: Rookies 3B Christian Villanueva and OF Franchy Cordero rank first and second on the club in both home runs and RBI (Villanueva has nine HR and 20 RBI, and Cordero has six HR and 13 RBI)...the last time any team had rookies ranking first and second in both stats dates back to the 1977 Athletics, 41 years ago, when Wayne Gross (22 HR, 63 RBI) and Mitchell Page (21 HR, 75 RBI) ranked as such. This season, no other rookie ranks in the top two on his team in home runs. TURNING THE TIDE: The Dodgers have won 88 games against San Diego over the last eight seasons (88-46), the most by any team against any opponent... LAST TIME OUT: Recorded his third career win in his last outing on 4/28 vs. NYM, tossing 5.2 IP of two-run ball in SD's 12-2 victory. JOEY LU'KK'HESI: His 35 strikeouts through his first six career games are the fifth-most all-time by an SD hurler. This season with El Paso (AAA), he s started in 23 of the 25 games in which he s appeared, slashing.244/.296/.511 with three doubles, three triples, five home runs and 18 RBI. For El Paso, he slashed.300/.372/.657 and was riding a five-game hitting streak (8-for-19,.421)...left the Chihuahuas after homering in four straight games. Is the first Padre to wear the No. 0...Jack Clark (a Padre from ), wore No. 00. Entered the Spring as a non-roster invitee, and he finished slashing.320/.414/.880 with four homers, two doubles and seven RBI.
