Barb motioned to add Back Left and Back Right to the tryout form for 10U and up, passed 6-3

2 ii. Heath motioned to combine arm strength and throw for both infield and outfield, Barb 2 nd, passed unanimously iv. Batting/Bunting i. Jeff motioned to remove Bunts leave Contact and replace Stance with Form. Barb 2 nd, Passed 8-1. v. Add one practice bunt and two practice swings vi. Slap hitting possibility for call backs i. Asking if there is another the option ii. Board agreed adding an assistant would be helpful iii. Board suggested Jeremy to fill out last year s survey in order to provide Mary with feedback i. Jeremy suggested paper copies next year 7. Call backs Tuesday, March 14 th 6-9:30 p.m. a. 10s, 12s, 14s (16s will probably not be necessary) b. Find the break in the tryout scores to choose who attends call backs c. Send regarding when to go to call backs d. 10U Check in 5:35-5:40, warm up 5:50-6:00, Eval 6:00 e. 12U Check in 6:25-6:40, warm up 6:40-6:50, Eval 6:50 f. 14U Check in 7:15-7:30, warm up 7:30-7:40, Eval 7:40 g. 7 th grade Band concert conflict during call backs i. Jeff will check options for times with the band concert conflict i. Krista to send to group to foresee who is involved ii. 8:15 proposed call back time for those who are in band h. Method i. Josh requested, 1) running bases, 2) ground balls and throwing, 3) field and throw from outfield, 4) batting cages bunting and hitting ii. Have coaches meet to discuss methods iii. 4 i. Girls must be in Monticello school district or attend Monticello schools b. Becker is not releasing anyone from their summer program under 14 c. Sloane released from St. Michael and is requesting to be part of Monticello softball i. Did not like 9. Registration a. 16s 4 registered, possibility of 8 with additional 2 nd year 14s and 3 try-ups 10. Open gyms and cages for March and April a. Batting cage gym going away sometime after callbacks b. Reserved for March 3 rd and 6 th for cages and 14 th for callbacks 11. Set next meeting a. Meet immediately after tryouts March 11 th to tally scores and determine who will attend call backs b. Heath motioned to accept Sloane Bozosi, who is from St. Michael, into the Monticello Girls Fastpitch Association. Daren 2 nd. Passed 7-2. d. Krista i. Inquired about situation with Sean Bozosi being kicked out from a game last year. i. Need to implement a plan for 2017 season ii. Handbook to be compared with old handouts e. Jeff i. ow to handle situations when we know players will be unable to attend State
