Acquired: Selected first Round 2014 First-Year Player Draft FOR STARTERS Making his 20th career Major League start, his 21st appearance and his 10th start on the road. Rookie southpaw is a native of Denver who graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. Pitched collegiately at the University of Evansville in Southern Indiana drafted by Colorado in the first round of the 2014 First-Year Player Draft (eighth overall). Acquired: Selected in First Round (3rd) of 2013 Draft BACK WHERE YOU BELONG The Rockies 2017 Opening Day starter was Colorado s 2013 first-round draft pick out of the University of Oklahoma. Returned to the rotation on June 30 after being put on the 10-day disabled list on April 14 with a broken bone in his left foot. 25-year-old was active on an Opening Day roster for the first time in his career after beginning 2016 on the 15-day disabled list with an abdominal strain.
