1 game information Tuesday, May 15 Shrine on Airline Metairie, LA new orleans baby cakes (19-19) vs. omaha storm chasers (14-24) RHP Zac Gallen (3-1, 2.57) vs. LHP Jonathan Dziedzic (1-4, 2.95) THE BABY CAKES The New Orleans Baby Cakes continue an eightgame homestand today with the finale of a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers. The Cakes have won five of seven meetings this season, including sweeping four games at Werner Park last weekend, their first sweep in Omaha since May 19-22, 1997 at Rosenblatt Stadium. YESTERDAY S NEWS Frank Schwindel broke a ninth-inning tie with a leadoff home run, and Paul Orlando added a two-run shot later in the inning as Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the Baby Cakes, 4-2. After Cakes starter Adam Conley worked 8.0 innings, Schwindel greeted Joe Gunkel with his sixth home run of the season to put Omaha on top. Cam Gallagher singled one out later, and Orlando followed with a home run to provide the Storm Chasers with a three-run cushion. Austin Dean tripled to lead off the bottom of the ninth and scored on Austin Nola s second double of the game, but Mike Broadway recovered to strike out three in a row to end the game. Conley gave up a single to Ryan O Hearn to lead off the second and a double to Gallagher, allowing Omaha to grab a 1-0 lead when Orlando grounded out to short, but that was the only run allowed by Conley, who got off the hook for the loss when the Cakes knotted the score in the eighth after JT Riddle drew a one-out walk, stole second base and scored on the third single of the night by Tomas Telis.
