Los Angeles, which won its third straight game last night, improved to 3-1 in its 10-game, 11-day homestand against Colorado (2-1), San Diego (1-0) and Philadelphia (four games), while also winning seven of its last eight contests since May 17. Following the weekend matchup with their division rivals, the Boys in Blue will host the Phillies for a four-game series next week to close out the homestand. Los Angeles snapped its two game skid against the Padres with the victory last night and improved to 5-2 on the season against its division rivals.
