PITCHING: The Mets rank third in the majors with a 3.38 ERA, the club has allowed 91 home runs, the fewest in the majors... The staff has issued 271 walks, the second-fewest in the majors, two behind the Yankees. JACOB degrom: Is 3-1 with a 1.82 ERA (eight earned runs/39.2 innings) and 38 strikeouts in his last six starts dating to June 25...He ranks fifth in the majors with a 2.56 ERA this year.
