ONE TO FORGET The Rays were just swept in a 4-game series by the Indians at Tropicana Field the Rays managed only 13 hits in the series, fewest by a team in a 4-game series since Detroit, May 2-5, 1996 vs. TEX (also 13) it was the first time they were swept in a 4-game series since Sep 7-9, 2009 vs. the Yankees here, and the first time at Tropicana Field since June 25-28, 2007 vs. CWS the Rays were hitless in 30 of the 37 innings played, batted just.107 (13-for-121) and were outscored 26-8 in yesterday s 5-4, 10-inning loss, Rays batters struck out a franchise-record 19 times, tying the major league high for 2015 the Rays have struck out 32 times in the last 2 games, most in franchise history over a 2-game span.
