The Chasers are coming off a 3-1 series win in Round Rock, while New Orleans split their 4-game set versus Iowa 2-2. Omaha topped the Baby Cakes in 2 of their 3 matchups between April at Werner Park, which included a 1-hit shutout win on 4/16. Omaha pitchers held New Orleans to just 2 hits, with starter Josh Staumont (5.0 IP, H, 2 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 2 K) earning his 2nd win. Relievers Bobby Parnell (2.0 IP, H, K), Malcom Culver (1.0 IP, BB) & Al Alburquerque (1.0 IP) combined for 4.0 scoreless frames of 1-hit ball, with Parnell & Culver receiving holds & Alburquerque notching his 1st save. 1B Ryan O Hearn (2-4, R, 2B, HR, RBI) crushed his teamleading 5th homer of the year in the win, with SS Ramon Torres (2-4, RBI) & C Parker Morin (2-4, RBI) each collecting 2 hits & an RBI as well.
