Pitching Disney yuth Baseball turnaments d nt have a limit n the number f innings a player may pitch in a day, but d encurage teams t use discretin with the safety f their pitchers. Injuries Must start game with nine players, can finish with eight due t injury/ejectin etc. Catchers Helmet Catcher s helmet must be hckey style mask, which cvers bth ears. N skull caps will be allwed during the turnament per high schl rules. Curtesy Runner Nise Makers Hm/Vis In all divisins, yu may have a curtesy runner fr pitcher r catcher t help speed up the game. If yu are nt batting the entire rster curtesy runner must be a substitute that has nt been in the game already. If yu bat the entire rster the curtesy runner must be the last recrded ut. If last recrded ut is the catcher r pitcher g t the next recrded ut. 8U- Catcher nly, must be last recrded ut. All nise making devices, including speakers, clappers, hrns, etc. are prhibited. Music may nt be played during a game due t the clse prximity f playing fields t each ther. Pl play- hme team will be determined by a cin flip. Bracket play- higher seed. 2 All players and Managers/Caches shall be subject t the Flrida High Schl Athletic Assn Baseball Rulebk unless any exceptins indicated belw. Each Manager/Cach is respnsible fr infrming his/her players f all rules. Team Eligibility: Participatin in a Disney Baseball Turnament is pen t amateur teams cnsisting f up t 20 players f prper eligibility. There is a 4 nn-player (ie. cach, screkeeper, manager) credential maximum and n mre than tw (2) bat bys/girls will be allwed per team. Player Eligibility: Players ages 6-18 may participate. Regardless f the age f the player during the Turnament - the divisin is determined using May 1, 2019 as the cut ff. The age f a player n April 30 will determine their age eligibility. Fr example if a player turns 11 n May 1 r later, they are eligible fr the 10U divisin. Acceptable player identificatin will include: phtcpy f birth certificate, valid passprt r valid driver s license. Prf f Age: All teams must shw acceptable player identificatin which includes: phtcpy f birth certificate, valid passprt r valid driver s license, fr each player n the rster when they arrive n site t register the team. A player that is t ld fr their age divisin will nt be allwed t participate. Any team fund t be using an ineligible player wuld frfeit all Disney Baseball Turnament games in which the ineligible player has participated. Rsters: Official Disney Baseball Rster must be filled ut nline with players name and unifrm number. Teams may change their rsters up until the first pitch f the first game, prvided that the newly-added player(s) have met all bking requirements. Bat by/bat girl shuld be included n rster with psitin listed as bat by r bat girl. N player shall be listed n mre than ne team rster, even if it is different age divisins. If it has been determined that a vilatin f this rule has transpired, penalties may include: player, cach and/r team disqualificatin(s) frm the turnament and/r frfeiture f games played with ineligible players. Player may nly appear in a turnament game fr ne team. Bat Restrictins: 12U and yunger: BPF 1.15, BBCOR, r USA Baseball designatin must be displayed n the bat (n ther weight r diameter restrictins) 13U and lder: The bat must have a BBCOR r USA Baseball designatin *Additinal exceptin: Multiple mdels f DeMarini 2017 CF Zen (-8) and (-10) bats have been declared ineligible fr game play. Fr a cmplete list f these illegal bats, please see the fllwing link: Unifrms: Caches d nt have t wear full unifrm. Shrts and Team shirt are acceptable. All players must have a visible number n the back f the unifrm and number is t be listed n the team rster. Pre-Game Prcedure: Befre ging nt the playing field, each player, cach, and/r bat by/girl must sign a Waiver Frm. Cmpetitrs shuld be at the cmpetitin field at least 30 minutes prir t the start f their game. Manager/Cach will meet n the field fr the cin-tss fr hme team in pl play, nly if necessary fr bracket play games. Lineups are t be turned int the screkeeper 15 minutes prir t the scheduled start f the game.

3 Line-up cards must cntain every player and substitute's first and last name, unifrm number, and psitin. Infield/utfield practice will nt be allwed between games. Each game will be assigned tw umpires. Prtests: Prtests after a game/inning is ver aren t accepted. All disputes must be reslved n the field at the time f the play in questin, and will nt be heard retractively. It is the cach s respnsibility t nt prceed with the game until a turnament fficial is cntacted and asked fr input n a ruling. In additin, umpire judgment calls cannt be prtested. Please refer t the turnament directr number which yu ve received t cntact any turnament staff if needed. External Cnditins/Weather: In case f inclement weather r field cnditins, games may: - Be shrtened- The turnament may reduce the time limit/number f innings/frmat etc. n games if necessary - Be rescheduled- Time, lcatin etc. determined by turnament directr - Be cancelled- Turnament staff reserves the right t cancel any game that has n bearing n seeding and prgressin f turnament play In case f extreme weather, the umpire, Turnament Directr r ESPN Wide Wrld f Sprts Cmplex representative shall determine if and when play shall cease, resume r be rescheduled. Turnament staff will cmmunicate with yu when the mst current schedule is updated n the nline schedule. It is the ttal and entire respnsibility f each manager/cach t btain the latest schedule infrmatin. RAIN DAY, SCHEDULE CHANGES AND INCLEMENT WEATHER INFORMATION WILL BE COMMUNICATED OUT THROUGH TEXT/ FROM OUR REGISTRATION SYSTEM. As a result, it is imperative that each manager/cach must verify cntact infrmatin (i.e. cntact name, and cell phne etc.) at registratin prir t the start f the turnament. If games are rained ut n Champinship Day, the highest placed team, f the tw scheduled t play each ther will be declared the winner. If the tw teams scheduled t play each ther are tied fr the higher seed, there will be a cin flip cnducted by the turnament directr. Delays/Cancellatins: Any game nt legally cmpleted because f inclement weather r any ther unfreseen develpments shall fllw the guidelines belw: - A game is cnsidered a regulatin game after 3 innings, 2.5 if hme team is ahead, fr 8U-12U. A cmplete game is after 4 innings, 3.5 if hme team is ahead, fr 13U-18U. - If game has nt reached the pint t be a regulatin game, it shall be declared a suspended game and play shall be resumed when pssible (even if it is anther day) frm the pint f suspensin. - After a game has becme a regulatin game, and if it is deemed nt pssible t resume n the same day, it shall be ruled a cmplete game. - If a game has reached the pint f being a regulatin game, and inclement weather ccurs, while a full inning is nt cmpleted, and the game is nt able t be restarted, the scre will revert back t the last cmpleted inning. - A tie game after the time limit r the inning limit, r f a suspended game, is cnsidered a cmpleted game in rund rbin play. - If games are pstpned t the fllwing day, they will be played after the cmpletin f that days scheduled games if it is during pl play if s deemed by the turnament directr.

4 Determinatin f Grup Winners In pl play there are n extra innings; games can end in a tie. Standings in a grup will be determined by: Game Pints: 2 pints fr a win 1 pint fr a tie 0 pints fr a lss If Tw Teams Tie in pints, begins with number 1 and prceeds thrugh each level until a winner is determined: 1. Head t head result 2. Mst Wins 3. Fewest runs allwed 4. Mst runs scred 5. Ttal run differential f all pl play games- Maximum f +10 is highest pssible run differential fr any ne game 6. If applicable, Minus 1 game pint in the standings if any f team s caches has been ejected frm a game 7. Whichever team was earliest t register fr the event If mre than tw teams tie: -Head t head results If ne team beat each f the ther tied teams, they will get the highest seed. If ne team has been defeated by each f the ther tied teams, they will get the lwest seed. - If all tied teams have same recrd against each ther, r did nt all play each ther, then prceed t tie breaker number tw abve - Cntinue dwn the tie breaker list until the three way tie is brken. - Once a team has been ranked higher r lwer, the tie breaking system begins again at number 1 fr the remaining tied teams. Example 1- - Team RA First Place - Team RA Third Place - Team RA Secnd Place (Defeated Team 2) (4 team bracket) Three teams have 4 pints and have all defeated each ther Team 1 beat 3, Team 3 beat 2, team 2 beat 1. Team 1 gave up 16 runs, team tw gave up 23 runs, and team three 29 runs. Team 1 is 1 st because f least runs allwed tie breaker. Team 3 wuld be secnd because it beat team 2, making team 2 third. Example 2- - Team RA Secnd Place - Team RA First Place (Defeated Team 1) - Team RA Third Place (4 team bracket) Three teams have 4 pints and have all defeated each ther. 5 8U-12U Rules: The rules cntained in this sectin apply t the yuth (12U & yunger) games played in this turnament. Otherwise, FHSAA High Schl rules will apply. the rster: Caches have the ptin t bat their rster, and then substitute freely n defense. If a cach chses t d this, and a player were t get injured, that spt in the lineup wuld then becme an ut. All games will be scheduled fr 6 innings, but will be terminated after 4 innings if a team has a 10 run lead; r 15 runs after 3 innings. Fr 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U, Champinship games will have a 1 hur and 55 minute time limit and a 10 run rule. Additinal FHSAA 8U Rule Exceptins 10 players may play in the field with 4 utfielders. The 4th utfielder may nt be allwed t assume an infield psitin. All utfielders must stay behind the baseline. A ball must g past the 20 ft. arc frm 1st base t 3rd base t be fair. Infielders must stay behind this line until the ball is hit. The defensive player listed as the pitcher cannt leave the pitching circle until the ball is hit. A maximum f 5 runs per inning r 3 uts; the last inning has a maximum f 10 runs. the rster: Caches have the ptin t bat their rster, and then substitute freely n defense. If a cach chses t d this, and a player were t get injured, that spt in the lineup wuld then becme an ut. Defensive caches and pitching cach are nt allwed n the field f play and must cach frm the dugut. Umpires will call "time" after every play and declare the ball dead. A player can nly be intentinally walked ne time per game. Infield fly rules d nt apply. Curtesy runner fr catcher nly. Runners cannt leave their base until the ball has crssed hme plate. A runner that leaves early will be called ut by the umpire. Cach Pitch Specific Rules A batter shall receive a maximum f 7 pitches r three swinging strikes. The pitching cach must psitin himself as nt t be an bstructin t the defensive team n any play. Machine Pitch Specific Rules Pitching Machine: the frnt leg(s) shall be set at a distance f frty-tw (42) feet frm the rear pint f hme plate. The fllwing pitching machine settings will be enfrced: machine height will be set at level 3 and the machine speed will be set at level 9 fr every game (apprximately MPH). Caches cannt change the height r speed settings at any pint in the game, strictly enfrced. Each batter is allwed 6 pitches r three strikes. If a batter hits a ful ball n the sixth pitch, he r she is allwed t cntinue batting until he r she des nt make cntact with the ball r puts the ball in play.

6 A fair batted ball hitting the pitching machine is declared a dead ball and ruled a single. All runners advance ne base frm their riginal psitin prir t the pitch. Field Dimensins 8U-10U teams play at the Diamndplex (Skin Infields) with fences set at 200 ft, 46 pitching mund, 60 bases 11U-12U teams play at the Diamndplex (Skin Infields) with fences set at 225 ft, 50 pitching mund, 70 bases 13U-18U teams play n full size fields with 60 pitching mund and 90 bases 13U, 14U, 16U, 18U: The Flrida High Schl Athletic Assciatin high schl rules will apply fr all games. FHSAA Rule Exceptins the rster: Caches have the ptin t bat their rster, and then substitute freely n defense. If a cach chses t d this, and a player were t get injured, that spt in the lineup wuld then becme an ut. All games will be scheduled fr 7 innings, but will be terminated after 5 innings if a team has a 10 run lead; r 15 runs after 4 innings. Champinship games will have a 2-hur and 15 minute time limit and a 10 run rule. Discipline: Managers/Caches will be respnsible fr the behavir f their fans. The umpire and/r ESPN Wide Wrld f Sprts Cast Member will have the authrity t warn and ultimately eject the cach and r fans that behave in an abusive r disruptive manner. Unnecessary nise making, causing a disturbance, will be halted (including punding n the bleachers). - Due t the clse prximity f fields t each ther, all nise making devices including speakers, hrns, clappers etc. are prhibited. Ejectin: An ejected player r manager/cach must leave the playing area (this means that the ffending individual shall nt be seen r heard frm fr the duratin f the game) and MAY BE SUSPENDED FOR THE NEXT GAME*. Any player r cach ejected frm a secnd game shall be suspended fr the remainder f the turnament. These penalties are fr "rdinary" ejectins. The Turnament Directr reserves the right t hand ut mre stringent penalties fr "extrardinary" circumstances (i.e. fighting, cntact with an umpire, etc.). *Judgment call by the umpire in chief and turnament directr The Turnament Directr and Umpire in Chief will review and rule n all reprts f unacceptable cnduct by players, managers, caches, and spectatrs. Depending n the severity f the unacceptable cnduct, the Turnament Directr and/r Umpire in Chief may enfrce a suspensin f up t the duratin f the turnament. The Turnament Directr and/r Umpire in Chief decisin will be disclsed t the apprpriate parties prir t their next scheduled game. Turnament Directr and Umpire in Chief reserve the right t decide all turnament matters and have the final interpretatin f the afrementined rules and regulatins.
