IRON MAN GUTE In his three-plus seasons as a Red Raider, senior first baseman Eric Gutierrez simply does not know the feeling of being left out of the lineup. That s mainly because it has never happened. Texas Tech head coach Tim Tadlock has penciled the senior onto the lineup card in all 181 games of his Red Raider career, marking the longest active streak in the country. A two-time All-Big 12 first team selection, Gutierrez is the only Red Raider on the 2016 roster to have started in every game of his career. 2 TEXASTECH.COM
