The Colorado Rockies continue their three-city, nine-game, 10-day road trip with the first game of a three-game set in San Francisco were swept in three games by the Dodgers and are now 4.5 games behind first-place Los Angeles-NL and two games behind Arizona. ODD YEAR The Rockies are currently on a nine-game win streak against the Giants, the longest string vs. San Francisco in franchise history it is the Rockies longest winning streak vs. any NL West opponent (previous: seven games, vs. Arizona, July 23-Sept. 13, 2004 & vs. Los Angeles-NL, Sept , 2007). CHUCK KLEIN MADE THE NOTES AGAIN Per Elias, Charlie Blackmon joins Chuck Klein (24 home runs, 12 triples in 1932) and Johnny Callison (15 home runs, 10 triples in 1965) as the only three players in Major League history to record at least 15 home runs and 10 triples prior to July 1st. Blackmon currently leads the Majors in hits (100) and triples (10), ranks second in extra-base hits behind Arenado (43) and is tied for eighth in RBI (56).
