On the road, the Rays have lost 8 straight games and haven t won a game in over a month (June 8 at ARI) they were on the road prior to this losing streak. The Rays have dropped to 18 games below.500 (34-52), tying the lowest point in the Rays era (since 2008) they were through June 24, 2014 they haven t been 19 games under since ending the 2007 season (their last as the Devil Rays) at The Rays hold the 2nd-worst record in the AL and 4th-worst mark in the majors only the Twins, Braves and Reds have worse records. Last night the Rays had 3 SB, tying their season high (May 24 at MIA) and only their fourth multi-sb game of the season. HERE S TO SECOND HALVES The Rays will reach the All-Star break (after tomorrow s game) having played 18 games in a span of 17 days without an off-day (3-13 thus far) they will reach the All-Star break with a losing record for only the second time in nine seasons of the Rays era they were at the 2014 All-Star break, but recovered with a record in the second half it will be their worst record at the break since at least 2007 (34-53), and they need to win at least one game to avoid their worst record since 2005 (28-61). In the Rays era, the club owns a (.549) record after the All- Star break, 5th-best mark in the majors behind the Yankees, Cardinals, Dodgers and Phillies. Their 117 HR are a club record before the break (113 in 2006).
