HOME AND AWAY: The A s are 2-4 on the first homestand of the season, an eight-game stand against Los Angeles-AL (1-3) and Texas (1-1) leave following the game tomorrow for the first road trip of the season, an eight-game jaunt to Los Angeles-AL (three games), Los Angeles-NL (two games) and Seattle (three games) last year, the A s went (.568) at home compared to (.358) on the road tied for the fifth best home record in the American League but tied for the second worst road record.
