Las Vegas defeats Albuquerque 5-0 in 2014 regular season finale: The 51 s defeated the Isotopes 5-0 on Monday afternoon (Labor Day) in the finale of the 2014 season before a crowd of 9,178 at Isotopes Park. Las Vegas offense: The 51 s recorded 11 hits and built a 2-0 lead after 5 ½ innings. Catcher Taylor Teagarden was 2- for-4, two runs scored, solo homer in the sixth inning; center fielder Cesar Puello was 2-for-4, RBI, two runs scored; right fielder Andrew Brown was 2-for-4 and shortstop Matt Reynolds was 1-for-4, SF, RBI. Albuquerque offense: The Isotopes recorded 4 hits and left fielder Roger Bernadina was 3-for-3, walk, triple and right fielder Mike Baxter was 1-for-3, walk. 2 Game Recaps: Albuquerque defeats Las Vegas 10-5 in series opener (Thursday, August 28): The Isotopes defeated the 51 s 10-5 in the opener of the four-game series and the final regular season road trip before a crowd of 8,187 at Isotopes Park. Las Vegas offense: The 51 s recorded 10 hits and built a 3-0 lead after 1 ½ innings. First baseman Brandon Allen was 2-for-4, double, HR, 2 RBI, two runs scored; left fielder Andrew Brown was 2-for-4, double, RBI, run scored; third baseman Josh Satin was 2-for-4, double, run scored and second baseman Daniel Muno (1-for-4) hit a two-run homer in the second inning. Albuquerque offense: The Isotopes recorded 15 hits and scored five runs in the fifth inning to take an 8-4 lead.
