The Cubs have turned in a record in the last five-plus weeks starting July 28, the sixth-best mark in the majors and the secondbest mark in the N.L. behind only Washington (22-14/.611). Soler is just the second Cub in franchise history to have 10 or more RBI in his first seven career games, joining Mandy Brooks, who had 12 RBI in his first seven games from May 30-June 7, Additionally, Soler is the first player since the Yankees Joe Buzas in 1945 to record at least one RBI and/or one extra-base hit in each of his first seven career games.
