Pennant, four-games-to-two Chicago advanced to this year s NLCS by defeating the Washington Nationals in the NLDS, three-games-totwo, including a wild 9-8 victory in Thursday s decisive game five in Washington. This marks the third time the Cubs and Dodgers meet in the postseason Chicago was swept in the 2008 NLDS, three-games-to-none, before meeting last year s NLCS.
