3 3 Collision Study Personal Injury Collisions 21 PICs occurred at the roundabout in 36 months which equates to 7 PIC per year. (Barnet average for a roundabout 2.92 a year) 21 PICs No fatality, 2 serious and 19 resulted in slight injuries. 4 4 TfL Principal Outcomes To improve journey time reliability via improved junction and network performance to meet the following TfL Surface Transport Principal Outcomes Principal Outcomes Reliable Roads Quality Bus network Reduced casualties Commentary Ensuring a reliable and resilient road network for all of London by managing congestion and improving connectivity. Changes to the road layout will improve the integrity of the infrastructure and manage congestion to ensure a reliable and resilient road network. Maintaining and enhancing a reliable, safe, accessible bus network and supporting coach operations, across all of London Improving journey times and efficient routes to maintaining a reliable, safe and accessible bus network. Continuing the downward trend in casualties on London s roads and public transport networks Mill Hill Circus has a history of high number of road traffic collisions; particularly shunts by vehicle queuing or changing lanes.
